Pussycats returns with the concluding issue of the two-part mini-series The End of Everything! This is the third series in the Pussycats saga, and this particular story has been in development for 3 years!
This 2-issue mini-series featuring illustrations from artist Mats Engesten is a shotgun blast to the face, with two killer covers featuring work from Randall Lloyd Photography and cover artist Kane Gallagher.
Pussycats: The End of Everything is a sexy and BRUTAL 32-page tribute to grindhouse cinema zombie flicks. The End of Everything is for Mature Readers, and is unapologetic with its nudity, language, monsters, zombie gore, and political treachery.
This new story in black-and-white builds upon character histories and a romantic relationship of paramilitary lesbian fighters Viper and Foxglove, first introduced in the previous series, Sex, Drugs, & The Impossible. For this reason, many of our reward packages are bundled with that previous series and the first series to give you FULL continuity if you're new to Pussycats comics.
Mars is the new frontier because Earth is an infected planet. The world's leaders and a compliant media have kept the population in the dark about an alien danger to the planet. The elite have left humanity to be consumed by zombies. But two women refuse to let the Earth be devoured by the dead. Their love for their country, and each other, motivate them to do what few do when faced with danger: they take a stand. And they fight.
Meet paramilitary Pussycats of the future, Viper and Foxglove. Two lovers that don't think humanity should be written off as expendable. These ladies, first introduced in the previous series, Sex, Drugs, & The Impossible, are now back in a self-contained story that shows their relationship both undercover...and under the covers.
In this concluding issue, the ladies must transcend their own time to recruit an ally. But the answer to their problems isn't that simple. Not only do they need the help of others, but they, themselves, must put their own lives on the line to set things right.
Check out these interior pages from issue #2!
For this issue, our goal is to generate funds to help pay for the print run. Pussycats is solicited for distribution to comic shops internationally. As you can see in the above graphic, the first issue of the series was solicited in the January issue of the PREVIEWS comic shop catalog. Issue #2 will be solicited in the February issue of PREVIEWS. Your pledge to this campaign will help pay for our print run of issue #2.
Rewards are spelled out in the pledge descriptions, and standard rewards are issue #2 of this series (both covers), as well as all issues from the first and second series of Pussycats.
THEN COMES THE BIG STUFF.
We're are also making available the promotional lithograph and ashcans from the launch of the first series, which were signed by adult film stars Tanya Tate and Karen Summer!
Also available in higher-end pledges are super-rare signed copies of Sex, Drugs, & The Impossible autographed by the models of Mother Superior (Aleksandra Baltic), Cowgirl Cathy (Debra A Johnson), and Powerhouse Pam (Kristy Ann)!
NOW COMES THE NASTY STUFF!
As you can read from the first page of editorial in issue #1 of The End of Everything, the genesis of the story actually came from an underground over-the-top noisy/grindcore audio comic in 2002 titled Cannibal Corpse Cardinals. This recording was performed by Vince himself on vocals, along with TONS of samples and various drunk musicians who contributed to the production for beer and cigarettes.
This CD-R recording is INFAMOUS for its brutality and audio anarchy! Don't believe us? Want a sample?
Check out a video released in 2009 for one of the more sinister tracks titled Frankenstein Freak-Out!
Want more? A track where you can actually hear the zombie apocalypse coming to its brutal end? Check out the last track as an mp3 download: Killing Those Who Would Save Us.
Cannibal Corpse Cardinals will be made available as both a downloadable .mp3 album and a hand-pressed CD-R edition signed by Vince.

Pussycats launched to critical acclaim in 2015 after famous adult film stars Karen Summer and Tanya Tate (pictured in videos below) appeared as themselves in the #0 issue. Both stars later signed promotional merchandise for the series when it shipped internationally to the direct comic market, and entered into Diamond Comic Distributors "Top 50 Small Press Comics" chart.
Soon afterwards, other famous adult film stars like Nina Hartley touted and promoted the comic series regularly on social media.
The comic quickly gathered a large female following as the book's main characters were tough women that kicked ass first and asked questions later. The Pussycats were Charlie's Angels on steroids in a big budget Quentin Tarantino film.
After the first series had been released, web sites were editorializing on how the series was a sound investment for the back issue market.
The second series, Sex, Drugs, & The Impossible was released in Spring 2017, and once again Pussycats entered into Diamond Comic Distributors "Top 50 Small Press Comics" chart.
Sellers were now asking higher prices for mint copies of the back issues on Amazon, and slabbing them for Ebay.
After Sex, Drugs, & The Impossible was released, fans increasingly sent in pictures to the E-Comix Facebook page showing how comic store retailers like Forbidden Planet and MidTown Comics were actively restocking this independent series, and racking it alongside mainstream comic book titles.
A comic book industry veteran since 1996, Pussycats creator/writer Vince Brusio is widely recognized as the Editor of PREVIEWSworld.com, where he writes about monthly interviews he conducts with comic book writers and artists. He’s also known for interviewing famous comic book professionals on video at Baltimore, New York, and San Diego Comic Cons. Personalities he has interviewed include novelist/TV icon Brad Meltzer, Eisner Award-Winning comic book writer Brian Michael Bendis, & The Walking Dead creator/writer Robert Kirkman.
In 2012 Brusio formed E-Comix with the purpose of publishing comic books that would give him complete creative control. Prior to Pussycats, E-Comix released Dying Fetus: Supreme Violence, which was bundled as a licensed comic book and T-Shirt for Relapse Records' notorious death metal band, Dying Fetus.
Late in 2014, E-Comix produced Feast for a Funeral for the pioneering death metal band Autopsy. The comic, out of print within months of its release, is now available digitally through Comixology. The cover for the book was licensed as a T-shirt line for JSR Merchandising, and Warner Bros. licensed the T-Shirt as wardrobe apparel for the Season 4 premier episode of Showtime's Shameless TV show starring William H. Macy.

THERE ARE NO RISKS. Period. This book is finished. It is why the pledge amount is so low. We are just asking to help offset the cost of our print runs. All other books and merchandise are ON HAND, and ready to ship on time. We always ship on time, and we're PROUD OF IT. Cheers!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
