Hello Backers!

I hope you’re all doing well! We are 71% funded with 13 days to go!

Cirkusu Stretch Goal is Close!

We are just 2 Cirkusu backers away from unlocking our next stretch goal puzzle! This stretch goal is for an additional set of acrylic playing pieces. Cirkusu comes with a set of wooden playing pieces (which are not shown in the product photos! I keep some things under wraps. :) so these acrylic pieces will be in addition.

This stretch goal was originally just for acrylic playing pieces, but I tested the designs on felt and they worked beautifully! So once this stretch goal is unlocked and its puzzle is solved, every Cirkusu series will come with an extra set of acrylic and/or felt playing pieces. To keep things simple for me, I will select colors and materials at random. They add a lovely spark of color to the series!

Here’s what the stretch goal pieces look like:

Stretch Goal: acrylic and felt playing pieces (in addition to the wood playing pieces that come with every Cirkusu set)

The keychain decorations are cut from scrap material.

Every puzzle will ship with one of these! The material will be chosen at random.

Puzzles need passion! I break down what puzzles can learn from board games in a guest post over at Unboxed (There's a puzzle hidden in here too!): http://www.unboxedtheboardgameblog.com/2014/04/missing-pieces-teaching-puzzles-what.html

      @Eugene Bryant

      Wonderful!!! You got it exactly right! I love strange, old scientific theories. :) The free set of Code Breakers are yours! I'll send you a PM with details.

      I will let Happy Mitten know, too! Maybe your comment is awaiting moderation. Well done!

      I found out about this project through the Happy Mitten interview -- very cool stuff. I think the answer to the puzzle in that interview is Phlogiston Theory, but my comment is not showing up in the article (or I am too impatient).

      Yay! So excited! (And those keychains look amazing).
