Plume started in 2011 as a web comic introducing Vesper Grey and the mysterious Corrick to the world. Then, in 2012 I signed with publisher Devil's Due to bring Plume to comic shops nationwide with the print miniseries.
Now - I'm introducing the PLUME trade paperback collection! Finally, a complete paperback edition that includes all five chapters of Vesper and Corrick's story. Including an exclusive cover with sketch options!
Devil's Due is working to release this book to comic shops as well, but to get it there, I'm calling upon all of y'all for help to meet our minimum print run costs and a bunch of other stuff that goes into making this book.
And we're offering plenty of unique goodies that you can only get here.
Despite the critical acclaim of ol Vesper, I still work a day job and do a lot of other freelance, and these little campaigns help bring more Plume to you faster.
Thanks to the last campaign, I was able to move up from one page to three pages a week for over a month! Who knows, maybe this one will blow that out of the water? ;)
Everyone who purchased the complete subscription in a previous campaign also gets the book at a steep discount!
And if you're new to Plume, this is a great way to hop on board the wagon, because there is plenty more Plume to come!
IF WE HIT $10,000 WE'LL BE ABLE TO OFFER A HARDCOVER OPTION!
Risks and challenges
All of the artwork for this book is not only done, but most of the production is as well, and I'm working with professional publishing experts to see it into production. Our printer is chosen and pricing has been carefully calculated for EVERYTHING from shipping supplies and extra helping hands to international shipping expenses.
While the best of intentions are always laid out, anything's possible, so never say never, but it's highly unlikely this book will have any issues. It is always possible that printing and manufacturing delays can happen, product can get lost in the shipping process, or human error may cause something to not be sent.
Sometimes getting original art commissions and sketches out takes longer than anticipated (for me), but I've made an extra effort to plan for that in choosing the due dates to allow enough time.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
