Sorry to those who have not received their copy. I put my trust in the wrong company and they made off with a good 90+ books, so some poor folks are left without chapter one.

Josh Blaylock and Devil's Due have extended a helping hand to straighten out this mess. DD has offered to give replacement copies to you at their own expense, by way of the new issue #1 when it debuts in December, and they will give you both covers A & B. I'll sign them as well.

We still need to hit our goal in the other campaign, so if this is agreeable, thank you again for being so awesomely understandable about it. We're halfway there already - just gotta keep spreading the word!

In my donation I did include the international shipping, just incase that hand anything to do with not receiving my copy. If you could, please could you keep me up to date with whats happening. Thank you.

Same here - I never got my copy, and I sent an email as requested around the beginning of August. Is there an update about this second set of books? Have you received them, and should we be looking for them soon? THANKS!

    10. Dave Punk on June 26, 2012

I was actually disappointed in this book, mainly its storytelling, layouts and craft of the panels. Best of luck to you in the future.

I *love* this comic and the one I got in the mail was PERFECT~~~!!!

    16. Tim J. Meyer on April 16, 2012

@K.lynn It's not so much about a replacement as "knowing for next time" I assume (HOPE) this won't be the only issue. and for future orders it is inexpense to help protect the comics a little more.

I backed this project because westerns (or weird westerns) are a favorite genre of mine as a past writer for Deadlands: Doomtown.I had hoped to see my name proudly displayed with many others as a supporter of the genre, instead I got a cute anecdote about typos on your cell phone making it to print.

I cannot stress that I backed this project be cause I love this genre and love comics. Not for recognition or for collectability. This was a great intro! I enjoyed the book and will buy a copy of the second issue as well.

Got my book. Love it!!! Keep up the awesome work :D

    18. K.lynn 5-time creator on April 15, 2012

@Tim J. Meyer-- Sorry to hear that! There seemed to have been an issue with importing the answers from Kickstarter to the Excel spreadsheet. The boxes were not aligned correctly and the names written in the address block were taken as the 'thank you' names. So, I apologize for that error.

As for the copy, I can send you another.

      Thanks for letting me know.

    19. Tim J. Meyer on April 14, 2012

I got my copy of the book today. Very good opening issue.

BUT, I asked to be Listed in the thank yous as "Tim J. Meyer" and somehow my phone typo'd my address as "Tim Meyet" and on the Thank yous I am listed as "Tim Meyet" Why ask how I wanted to be listed and then not use it?

Also, bags and boards would have been such as small additional cost. (like 15 cents) to include a bag and board. My copy has spine bends from shipping., I had planned to read it CAREFULLY but to preserve it's condition as well as I could.

As I said, I love the story and art...

    20. Astra Crompton on February 11, 2012

      I'm SO pleased for you!
If I need to send you extra for shipping, just let me know~ <3

Wish I had more money to back you with! Love the comic and can't wait to see where it goes, and it makes me even more excited that you're a 'local' artist; I'm only about an hour north of Lansing myself!

    29. Thom Wong on January 17, 2012

    30. Jen Roberts on January 16, 2012

Yay for Plume! And you're in Lansing, too? O_O Even if I weren't in love with the comic, have to support local artists!! :D (But I am in love with the comic, so it's easy. ^_^ )

One of the things I love about Kickstarter is that it helps me find so many new comics to check out. Looking forward to the book, and congrats!
