For our latest deck, we drew inspiration from the majesty and elegance of royal houses of European history, creating the Rose Deck with corresponding color scheme and imagery.
We took care to include the elements for which we've become known over our Kickstarter campaigns - vibrant colors and intricate detail, enhanced by gold and silver metallic inks.
The Rose Deck will have a limited print run of only 1,000 decks through the United States Playing Card Company. Of those, 850 will be made available to Backers during the campaign.
The tuck case features a front gate in the foreground welcoming you to the Rose House, with an Anglo feel informing the lettering.
The deck back features design elements prevalent in Renaissance architecture and various royal palaces. In the center is the Rose window, with shading used throughout the design to add layers of depth, highlighted by gold accents.
For the Courts, we've used a painting-style approach, reflecting the popular trend of the aristocracy to immortalize itself in portraiture during the height of European monarchy.
We wanted each Court character's expression to tell a different story, whether it be Intrigue, seduction, or political scheming - all elements found in the parlors and reception rooms at a royal palace.
The Gilded Version of the Rose Deck will have a 300 print run, 250 of which will be made available to Backers. It features a gilded-edge deck and a tuck design with a predominant gold theme.

Risks and challenges
This is our fifth campaign (fourth for cards), and we've learned that no matter how smoothly your campaign goes, executing your fulfillment properly is just as important as designing a great deck of cards. We expect some delays since there always are, but we intend to have all pledges fulfilled by March.
And, as always, we will be ever present on the comment boards and in the private message forum. Our Backers from previous campaigns can attest to having questions and concerns answered quickly, and to receiving frequent updates as to the status of the project.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
