It is constructed taking weight, form and portability into account. It's core is made of plastic plates, metal and magnets. The outer shell is polypropylene fabric, staying in touch with the environment. Together they create beautiful wings.
It is also reversible so it works with your yin and yang.
Alulas works with the iPad 2nd, 3rd, 4th generation.
Alulas is latin for winglets. Perfect for a wing type device.
Hold the iPad - No More:
We all enjoy the iPad while lying down. We watch TV episodes, read a book, surf the web. But, after holding the iPad for a while it becomes uncomfortable. Well, alulas let's you go hands-free. Also, all I/O interfaces of the iPad are accessible and operational while in use with alulas.
The Right Viewing Angle:
The fact that you always want to have an optimal viewing angle, is the main problem while operating the iPad when lying down. You hold the iPad constantly for this reason. Alulas maintains a perfect viewing angle all the time, while you go hands-free.
Wings for every Shape:
The wing design of alulas allows the device to mold onto the user's body (all sizes), making it sturdy and balanced.
Yes, for the Go:
The iPad is a mobile device that accompanies you to many places. How good would a stand be if you can not take it with the iPad? Alulas perfectly folds to a manageable size, in order to fit your backpack, purse, or messenger bag. Folded in half it's close to the size of a 8.5"x11" paper sheet.

Risks and challenges
The project has taken several months. It has been thoroughly designed, tested, polished, and perfected. But like every endeavor in life, it will probably still face some hurdles.
The production run will be overseen by a well recognized design company in Florida, with vast experience in the field of industrial design. Their collaboration will ensure that any hurdles can be conquered.
The most common risk in the production of anything are time constrains. I have forecasted an April delivery. Any delays in materials from suppliers could push that delivery date into the future.
