About this project
This Indiana Jones fan-film is created by professional writers, directors and producers, stars SIMONE BAILLY (Stargate SG-1, The L Word), TIMOTHY OMUNDSON (Psych, Deadwood), and features a massive fight scene choreographed by professional stunt team 87ELEVEN ACTION DESIGN.
ARMY OF THE LOST HORIZON: PART ONE is the start of a serial adventure. A love letter to Indiana Jones...
Chinatown, San Francisco -- 1962. Indiana Jones has gone missing and is presumed dead. His daughter, Anna Ying (Simone Bailly) has tracked her father's presumed killer, Jack Corbin (Timothy Omundson) to an underground gambling club, ready to make him pay. The confrontation takes an unexpected turn...and she must fight her way past Corbin's henchmen to escape the speakeasy, find the map, and continue on to rescue Indiana Jones!
We've reached our initial goal...and we're still going! We're blown away by your outpouring of enthusiasm and support but we've got more work to do...
We're announcing a STRETCH GOAL of $50,000. With that budget, we can make this film exactly the way we want to: more action, bigger stunts, better sets and costumes--sacrificing nothing in production value. Every dollar will go up on the screen! We want this to look amazing!
And we're creating Stretch REWARDS for ALL BACKERS:
STEPHEN SCAIA (Director) is a television and feature Writer/Producer living in Los Angeles, CA.
Stephen was born and raised in the midwest then headed east, graduating from film school at Emerson College. His career began after landing on 'The West Wing' as a Production Assistant. There, he met fellow "PA" Matthew Federman and they’ve been writing/producing together ever since. They are currently developing the large event mini-series, ‘Pax Romana’, for SyFy (with the producers of ‘The Walking Dead') and writing the feature adaptation of the popular Ubisoft video game GHOST RECON for Warner Brothers and Director Michael Bay. Federman & Scaia’s work has consistently centered on the merging of character and premise, the effect of history on the present and--whenever possible--things blowing up. In addition to television and features, Stephen has also contributed to McSweeney’s humor website as well as performing in the Mortified Live show.

Y: THE LAST MAN (adaptation of the comic book) for New Line Cinema
ZORRO (the reboot) for Sony Pictures
RIVER OF DOUBT (adapted from the non-fiction book by Candace Millard about Teddy Roosevelt's ill-fated 1914 trip through the Amazon)
DAVID HARARI (Writer) followed his graduation from Emerson College by working in Los Angeles as a Production Assistant on features, television shows, and commercials. He transitioned to producing music videos and after a number of years now works as a Production Supervisor on live online events such as the Emmy’s 'Red Carpet Live' and American Express: UNSTAGED series.
Throughout this time in production, he has continued honing his craft by writing everything from one-act plays, to features, to pilots. Last year his original one-hour pilot 'Negative Space' placed in the top 10% at the Austin Film Festival and as a Semi-Finalist in the Slamdance Script Competition.
