Our bedsheets are centered around our four main values:
- Ethically-Sourced by meeting international standards.
- Comfortable. This is the highest-quality cotton, and you can feel the difference every time you're ready for bed.
- Design. Our minimalist design reflects our business model: we want no frills, just good, sustainable product.
- Affordability. These sheets at retail are sold at $400. We made our business as lightweight as possible so that we didn't have to sell them for such a fortune.
To provide a product that does not compromise, we had to create a business model that does not compromise. We have no in store costs, meaning no slotting fees, no brand licensing, etc... so that means higher-quality for a lower cost. As well, our suppliers are certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), which ensures that they meet international standards by social and ecological criteria. Learn more here.
We did extensive research and testing to make sure that we were providing the best product possible. Our sheets are Egyptian cotton, extra extra long staple with 300+ thread count.
Our team is compromised of three individuals from three wildly different places: Sam Crane from the United States, Kaan Göksal from Turkey, and Harsh Gupta from India. Despite our different backgrounds, we came together with a common goal to build a brand for the 21st century.
Sam Crane- Growing up in Atlanta, Sam continuously has worked on the intersection of coding and social good. Primarily his work has been in SmartCities, having founded a start-up that aimed to aid SmartCity development, as well as working on the SmartCity of São Paulo. His first interest in linens came from a basic idea: "what won't ever change?". People will never stop sleeping, so let's make the process better.
Harsh Gupta - Harsh was born in New Delhi. Even at a young age he was exposed to the textile industry when visiting his uncle's factory. Harsh was struck by his uncle's business: simultaneously he is good to his workers, good to the environment, and a very philanthropic man. When building this business he took that experience, and wanted to build a brand around those values.
Kaan Göksal - Kaan was born in Istanbul, Turkey. In high school, he built a Start-Up that helped people in Turkey manage their energy consumption. He has a strong following in the Turkish community on youtube with his videos on coding projects.
