Introducing ZEEQ, the world’s most sophisticated pillow. ZEEQ is not just another device or accessory, it is an active participant in your sleep. ZEEQ can play music to help you fall asleep, monitor and react to your snoring, analyze your sleep and intelligently wake you up. Unlike other sleep technology ZEEQ actually responds to the data it collects.
ZEEQ will help you fall asleep by allowing you to listen to music through the pillow and letting you choose music from your favorite sources. You can set a sleep timer in the app so the music will stop automatically - that way you can focus on sleep. We have even created some new relaxing tracks (some even using binaural beats) to help you fall asleep faster and achieve even more restful sleep.
If ZEEQ hears snoring, it will gently vibrate the pillow to encourage a new sleeping position.
Your natural sleep movements are recorded and used to wake you up at the ideal moment in your sleep cycle, making groggy mornings a thing of the past. Most importantly, ZEEQ is the most comfortable pillow you will ever own.

The ZEEQ Difference
The ZEEQ pillow will improve your sleep quality and quantity in multiple ways.
If you fall asleep better with music, REM-Fit Audio lets you stream music wirelessly, so you don’t have to sleep with headphones in and you won’t disturb your partner. You can even use one of the REM-Fit soundscapes if you prefer a more ambient experience.
The Snore Alarm uses a built in microphone with decibel sensitivity to hear snoring, and responds by gently vibrating the pillow to encourage the user to change positions without waking them up.
As soon as you go to bed, ZEEQ will start to monitor your sleep. It uses a 3-axis gyroscope to detect your motion throughout the night and provide data on the quality of your sleep.
Smart Wake senses where you are in your sleep cycle based on these movements, and wakes you up at the ideal moment in a predetermined time range. It will use soft vibrations to wake you gently without affecting your partner.

ZEEQ is an active participant in your sleep, and if you want to be an active participant too you can use the manual features provided in the app such as diet, caffeine and alcohol consumption, exercise tracking and more.
As the app learns more about your habits, both while asleep and while awake, it can detect patterns and correlations and start to make suggestions on how to improve your sleep quality.

All the heavy lifting is done; we are already near completion on our design and engineering. We have several functional samples of the pillow. We already have manufacturers for all our components and have visited the factories in Shenzhen, Shanghai and India 8 separate times.
There are a few big steps left to take: tooling, international testing and manufacturing. Your support will help us produce our first order of ZEEQ!

PILLOW COMFORT:
A pillow is a very personal item and people have different options on the ideal pillow. We have worked hard to make a pillow that will be very comfortable for all types of sleeping positions and firmness preferences.
MAKING EVERYTHING WORK TOGETHER:
There are a lot of sensors and components inside of a very soft object. Not only must if feel great to sleep on, it has to work properly. The noise sensors must react properly; the vibration motors must be strong enough to be felt through the padding, but not overpowering. We had to write new algorithms and logic so that all of our various components worked in concert with each other easily and effectively.
DECIBEL READING:
Having a microphone that can detect sound down to a specific decibel and then react properly is a key component. The microphone has to be cost effective, sensitive and accurate. This is not an easy feat!
APP LOGIC:
With all the information coming from the pillow, the app needs to not only read the raw data, but present it in a way that makes sense to the end user. Also, the app must be easy to use, which can be a challenge with all the features available to the user.
MANUFACTURING:
We have already done all the heavy lifting: We have factories lined up, components sourced and functional prototypes created. However, we know that there can be unforeseen challenges between pre-production and production. It is not unheard of for a factory to change hands or a component to fail in production. We are an established company with experience and relationships, which should minimize any manufacturing issues we might face.
