Join the Cookie Revolution
Marlo’s Bakeshop is a San Francisco-based company specializing in unique twice-baked cookies. The Old World recipe was originally my Grandmother's but I have brought it up to date and source my all-natural ingredients as freshly and locally as possible. Scroll to the bottom for more information on where we source our ingredients.
The ideal future of Marlo's is to expand nationwide and give consumers all over the country the opportunity to taste the next 'Oreo': the addictive cookie with the weird name that every household knows and loves! In order to get there though, we need to make a few changes and accomplish a couple things...
Your Support Will Help Fund 3 Critical Projects:
1.) Our first retail packaging print run: we are creating 4-packs of cookies and single servings for distribution. Both the design and printing costs are high, but it's imperative that we do this so that specialty food shops & groceries near you can carry Marlos!
2.) Expanding our production space: We would like to move production of our cookies to a facility that can scale with us and can support the increasing volume demands from our customers.
3.) A commercial bread slicer: These things are heavy-duty pieces of equipment! Your support will give us the means to purchase a commercial bread slicer, providing the precision needed to slice our loves into individual cookies that are as consistent as possible for greater distribution.
Thank you so much for reading about Marlos and supporting our campaign.

Where We Source Our Ingredients:
Risks and challenges
It is certain that we will face some challenges and take risks with this project; cost of ingredients may rise, machinery can break and there can be delays in production & printing schedules. Above all else though Marlo's will always remain dedicated to providing our customers with an exceptionally delicious product made with superior quality ingredients. If that means reverting to more manual and time-intensive processes to ensure quality control then so be it.
We want you to taste what our family has been addicted to for decades and we'll do what's needed to honor that commitment.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
