About this project
We are running this campaign for only 8 days during our big launch.
Creative abilities are falling in kids. That's the problem.
We are here to help parents turn the tide of creative decline.
Mixable Murals are:
Innovative. – the first of its kind in interactive creative wall mural art kits for children.
Versatile - each mixable Mural is carefully designed to give kids and parents endless creative options. Again and again.
Safe - with non toxic and environmentally sensitive materials.
The Need Is There.
Researchers who have tracked children’s creativity for the past 50 years are seeing a significant decrease in creativity among children for the first time, especially younger children from kindergarten through sixth grade.(1)
My niece is now six years old. The age when the creative urge starts to accidentally fade in so many children.
It is for her and kids like her that I put my passion and creativity toward helping parents reverse the tide of creative decline in children.
And Mixable Murals was born.
One Product Example
Mixable Murals are non toxic, repositionable fabric animal shapes that can be arranged on your walls in different ways to create unique and original murals. Easy to use and always unique.

I have spent the past year refining designs and testing with parents and kids on three continents. And people like what we're doing. We're proud to have Mixable Mural fans in Canada, the US, England and Australia.
Why Creativity is Important for Kids
Creative play encourages children to use their imaginations, experimentation and through hands on activity, put their ideas to the test.
Creative play stimulates mental growth as children develop problem solving and decision making abilities and exposed themselves to new ways of thinking.
By making creativity a part of your everyday play with your children you are setting them on the right path to a lifelong love of creating, curiosity and learning.
Time is limited... they grow up so fast and have so much competing for their attention.
Who knows? Someday they may change the world with a single thought.
Great for ages 1 months – 4 years.
Little boys and girls will be amazed as you bring their walls to life with characters that are always changing. Move their Mixable Murals around the house to surprise them at every turn. Play Mixable 'hide-n-seek' and hear them giggle when they find their favorite friends in unexpected places. Every blank wall becomes a place to delight and entertain.
Great for ages 5 years and up.
Big boys and girls can take creative charge and make a mural of their very own. Watch their faces light up joy as they make something as unique and special as they are. Watch as they happily show off their unique creations to family and friends.
I have spent the past year refining designs and testing with parents and kids.
The designs have changed quite a bit. Our clients can feel comfortable that we have looked at 100's of data points for every ounce of cuteness.
I started making Mixable Murals for my family before I started making them for yours and I knew they had to be as safe and non toxic as possible.
All Mixable Murals are made with a woven PVC free polyester fabric.
And colored with water based 'GREENGUARD' inks certified 'School and Children Indoor Air Quality Safe'. AND are UL ECOLOGO Certified.
Which means there is no chemical plastic stink and no volatile organic compounds (VOC's).
The fabric material is thick and durable and has a pleasant canvas texture. Just because it feels nice..
And they are recyclable.
We've partnered with a solid company that will be able to seamlessly handle all the production work. Mixable Murals are only manufactured with eco-sensitive processes with almost zero percent waste.

Risks and challenges
There can be production challenges tied to any manufacturing project (delays, equipment failure, theft, etc.), but we've been through all this before while developing our prototypes.
The timeline is tight, but we trust the manufacture can and will deliver as promised.
We have done our very best to ensure everything is in place to make this project a success before we came to Kickstarter.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
