      Some of you understand this is a worlds FIRST. Its the first toy that bridges the gap between the digital world and the physical toy world. Its a Siri for Kids. 100% child friendly. Do you know Apple did not make Siri? they BOUGHT it for $200 million. I am re-creating Siri AND making it Child friendly AND its better than Siri! Wow. It would be so nice if people complemented me on this. Do you have any idea how hard it is to write this software, how special it is? Also apart from you being the 1st in the world to get this you also get the worlds first natural talking toy?!! wow. Like in the movies. But real. And the thanks I get?!!!

      @Peter Sorry Kickstarter is not Amazon. The refund option is not available. You invested in an idea. To help an inventor create a product. I am creating. I also suggest in future you buy ready made products from Amazon. I guarantee you will not get a Supertoy.

      @TK

      The 2,000 teddy bears have been manufactured.

      They are still stitching the bum tags.

      Also finding the cheapest way to ship.

      Please guys, enough is enough of the doubts (Not you TK) I am talking to the Trolls.

      And believe me Trolls you DONT get a Supertoy.

      Video of the bear in action? Link to iOS / Android app?

      Please make a full refund. I don't want to support this project anymore.

    8. Thanh Bui on

      Since we were given the option, I'd like a refund please. Thank you

    9. Alex Johnson on

      I've been asking for a refund since he offered it back in update 23 and have been ignored. I want my money back not your bear. I was all for supporting this project until you went off the deep end threatening supporters that questioned you and posting a photo of a half nude guy with guns. I've reported this to Kickstarter as well, I just want my money back and to stop being inundated with his nonsense.

    10. Evgeni Kogan on

      @Ernst-Jan @Graeme

      It is your prerogative to report or not to report (that this is not time to report is solely your opinion - there are plenty of backers who do not share it).

      If you guys are happy with the way this project has gone, all the more power to you. I am speaking out as one (of the more than a few) people who are not happy.

    11. Frank Spencer on

      @Evgeni. I think the point Ernst is trying to make is that from a production stance there is nothing to report. Supertoy has promised to fullfill there obligations and to this point they have.

      The bears are on there way(almost). The software (beta) is complete. The Software will be developed in the coming weeks/months and then Supertoy will have fullfilled their obligations. The only complaint I have is that we have yet to see the software and I will have to reserve judgement until I have, but this can be updated/changed after we have received the hardware.

    12. Evgeni Kogan on

      @Ernst-Jan

      You do realise that reporting this project isn't going to stop it, right?

      No one loses anything by reporting it, all that will happen is it will gain KS attention, which may or may not positively affect what is happening with the bears.

      What reporting it will do, hopefully, is make sure that the backers are taken seriously.

    13. Bryan Wiegele & Simon Rosati on

      If the bears are manufactured and being shipped, can you post a video of you interacting with one to assure everyone of what they're getting?

      While the updates are often indeed more blogposts (and yes, don't even start about the "gunguy" post), there's still no telling if you get what you backed or not. Remember that in development, deadlines are an estimate and that you're still not ordering a finished item from a retailer. Plus, even if the software starts as the wikivideo, who knows what it'll evolve to?
      If his real projectupdates are true, then it'll be about 3 weeks before they arrive. So at least I will give him until then before even thinking about reporting. Since most things seem quite covered in KS legal terms I assume projectowners also need to report projectstatus to them and even more in-depth, right?
      And, as was stated before, he is legally bound to send what was backed for, not sure on when a project is considered "abandoned", but since we seem to get some real updates I guess we - the backers - have some legal obligations too.
      And yes, he did offer refunds at a point, but again not sure he is at this point required to do so.
      Personally, I think most people are taking the personal approach about the bloglike posts and the supertoy-is-dead one and are more mad about not currently knowing what the exact state of our bear is.
      Just wanted to share my 2 cents on everything.
      I still look forward to my bears for now however

      I just sent an "report this project" to kickstarter...

    17. Evgeni Kogan on

      @CraigDunn and all the Backers!!!

      This isn't something that people seem to be commenting on, but even if we do get the bear, we're not getting the funcitonality that was promised:
      https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2117525416/supertoy-worlds-first-natural-talking-teddy-bear/widget/video.html

      We are getting this:
      https://www.youtube.com/watch

      Which is in my opinion a con job. The Wiki Bear is horrible. Do any of the other backers actually think it is the same as, or an improvement on, what was promised?

      If the video on the project had showed something close to the Wiki Bear (not in terms of looks, but in terms of voice/response etc...) I would have never backed it.

      And now, on top of the fact that we have been conned, Ashley Conlan is rubbing it in - is goading us - with these ridiculous updates.

      Backers should contact Stephen Fry (who I believe to be the £5,000 backer:http://www.walesonline.co.uk/business/how-stephen-fry-helping-one-5460655) on Twitter to bring it to his attention: http://www.twitter.com/stephenfry

      I would think he would not be very pleased to have his name associated with this con job.

      You should also contact Simon Gaskell, the reporter who wrote the story above, to tell him what's happening. I am sure that the media will be very interested in recent developments. Simon's Twitter is: http://www.twitter.com/simongaskell

      To all the other backers - don't sit back and do nothing.

      Ashley Conlan has taken your money, and what you'll get for it is anybody's guess, if you get anything at all.

      Go to the page below, and all the way to the bottom, where you will see the gray 'Report This Project to Kickstarter' button. Use it to report this project, let's, at least, not be made fools of.

      @Gary Chang - please see my comments further down in this update regarding the illegal use of that picture without licensing/attribution. You will also see that the original Update #32 was quite different from the bogus "shipping update" that was swapped in. The original update is also contained in a comment below.

      @Graeme - I will certainly let folks know what I hear back, assuming they don't just take action themselves.

      https://www.kickstarter.com/help/faq/kickstarter%20basics

      Is a creator legally obligated to fulfill the promises of their project?

      Yes. Kickstarter's Terms of Use require creators to fulfill all rewards of their project or refund any backer whose reward they do not or cannot fulfill. (This is what creators see before they launch.) This information can serve as a basis for legal recourse if a creator doesn't fulfill their promises. We hope that backers will consider using this provision only in cases where they feel that a creator has not made a good faith effort to complete the project and fulfill.

      Well...it just doesn't stop....now, perhaps, people understand what I've been saying...even the Koolaid drinkers.

      For the record, I DID provide a lengthy report of this project Friday night to Kickstarter HQ. I am hoping to see some action Monday once more of the staff is back in-office. These new additions to the updates only further demonstrate what I reported.

      Since Ashley think he's slick by sending out the email version of the update and then quickly changing it to the above to make it LOOK like a valid update....well, I am providing the original Update #32 content right here - which can't be modified by Ashley playing games:
