SLANTS ARMY, we need you!
Our band is in need of a new touring bus. We tour all over the world, traveling for several months of the year and we need something that is reliable, safe, comfortable, and can handle the intense touring that we do. Without a reliable ride, we can't hit your town with some face-melting rock. This is where you come in...
We've spent almost all of our time/money on our new album and now we need your help. We've always been totally independent and never needed a major label. Since the beginning, this band has survived thanks to the support of our friends and fans.
In the last four years, our band has played over 350 shows, making appearances in 42 of 50 states and throughout Europe. We've rocked anime conventions, dive bars, maximum security prisons, and even played for the troops serving overseas. Our tour bus is our "home away from home" and we need something to bring us safely back home to our loved ones.
Over the years, you helped us remain completely independent. We rejected a million dollar recording contract because we didn't want to sell out. We took on fighting for our trademark through the help of people who believed in this band. Now, we're asking you to support us through this very special project.
This is our first ever Kickstarter project and we're hoping that you can participate. We've got some amazing, limited edition stuff here. Remember that every dollar counts! We hope that you will take a moment to watch the above video and make a gift today. Thank you so much!!!
If we raise $10,000:
We'll be able to purchase an older shuttle bus and renovate it for the tour. This would mean that we wouldn't need to tour with a trailer anymore, be much safer on the road, break down less often, and have a little more space on our house on wheels.
Money raised above the goal would allow us to invest some of our money to our stage show: lighting, special effects, etc. to make each tour experience even more special. The priority is obtaining a safe vehicle and creating an even better experience for fans on the road.
