We Soaked a Small Town In Wisconsin with Fire Hoses of Blood and Finished Shooting a Feature Film… So Why do We Need Money?
Two words, post production.
Over the years of our team finishing shows, we have learned that the stuff that comes after you film everything can be the most crucial part of the creative process. When watching a great movie, people rarely think about the work that goes into the sound, the color, the timing, the music or the visual effects. But it is these things that can make or break your project and that is where you come in. The more money we raise to spend on post, the better our movie will be. There is a direct correlation.
WHO ARE WE?
In 2011, we self funded and produced an online series called "Good Cops." After a concerted effort toward promotion and marketing, the show caught the notice of web-based network giant, Machinima. Machinima bought the show and fully funded a second season which was a rousing success, garnering well over a million views. We followed that up with another web hit, a western comedy called "Tumbleweed."
You can see these shows and more by going to our YouTube channel.
From there, we caught the eye of Shoreline Entertainment, one of the longest running independent film production companies and international sales agencies in the world. After Shoreline signed on to sell and promote the film, we managed to raise production funds which allowed us to shoot this movie.
WHAT MAKES THIS PROJECT DIFFERENT?
We're not asking you to fund an idea: We have already spent a month in Wisconsin shooting this movie. We're not asking you to fund distribution: we already have a major movie sales and marketing company attached. We're asking you to help us fund the fun stuff: twisted visual effects, bone crunching sound, kick ass music and closed friggin' captioning!
HOW WILL THIS FILM BE DISTRIBUTED?
Obviously we would love for this to be a monumental hit in theaters across the globe and that is "Plan-A". But we have to point out that this is an independent feature and it is our first. So even with the support of a large company like Shoreline Entertainment, it is more likely that we will see something smaller. Think more in the range of a short, art-house, theatrical run, followed by a release on digital download and rental sites like Netflix and Amazon.
With that being said, It is important to note that we do have a partner who knows the right people in each of the major film markets and festivals and that they are as excited about this movie as we are. So it will get every possible shot at going really big. We just have to make sure that this movie is balls-out awesome.
SO QUICKLY, WHAT’S THE MOVIE ABOUT?
In order to save a home that has been in their family for generations, two awkward brothers and their idiot friend hire a vampire-actor to scare the town. Things get crazy when the “vampire” turns out to be the real thing.
The filming is done, the distribution plan is solid, we just need to finish the movie.
It's time to pick a reward.

Risiken und Herausforderungen
There are fewer challenges in post production than there are in film production. Having said that, people can quit, footage can get lost and deadlines can be missed. So the key is perseverance.
The challenges are numerous, but we are tireless workers and we solve problems with a willingness to keep on going, no matter what.Näheres zur Rechenschaftspflicht auf Kickstarter
