Hello, The most important thing to know is that this project was created to build appreciation and a network of goodwill so when I announce my forth coming revolutionary project I can have an audience to communicated to directly. Because of my disabilities, I currently have no online network and yes, I fully recognize that a font is the type of idiosyncratic project that less than one percent of the population cares about. However, the next project will have incredible mass appeal, enact substantive societal good and may even profoundly impact an industry. Really, the next project will be Steve Jobs kind of big. So even if you don't care to donate a cent to this project please send me an email or better yet give me call so that when I announce the massive project I can inform you about it directly.

In fact, she can already spell many words that I cannot.
In my 36 years I have only succeeded in memorizing three phone numbers.
I have yet to memorize my own phone number or my address for that matter.
Because I am afflicted with severe dysgraphia, which- as you may have surmised- in no way affects my intellect, I will die never having been able to write an understandable love letter to my wife,
correctly filled out my children's medical forms nor properly filled out a job application by myself.
I live in a society that depends on writing to communicate and I can't even write a word correctly as I look at it!

The project: Man Greater Than Money Font
Why does the world need another font ? As the utterance of words does not communicate as much as its audio and physical paralanguage so too is the written language crippled when sundered from the expressiveness of design.
Upon growing in visual sophistication, we are awakened to the severe expressive limitations of a rudimentary typographic palette and commence to make ever greater demands upon our typefaces. Everything from a font's ability to attack attention to itself, its legibility and its ability to accurately express in visual form the writing's unique tone is contemplated. Thus people's uniqueness combined with the multiplicity of scenarios in which we use writing to communicate creates the necessity for ever greater varieties of fonts.
What’s so great about this font? In creating the very first font developed exclusively for use in secondary display settings I was faced with performing a number of precarious balancing acts. When the font is set the ensuing word forms have to draw attention to themselves, yet do so to a lesser degree than the headline or logo word mark they may be accompanying. The letter forms have to be able to both tightly interlock regardless of what combination they found themselves in and perfectly flow from one to another if kerned normally, loosely, very loosely, very widely or even mono spaced: All the while permitting for the alignment of strokes across multiple rows of text regardless of how the font is kerned. The font blatantly ignores traditional notions of typography to achieve harmonious word shapes without awkward negative spaces or strokes. The letters are not really letters but instead highly legible geometric forms so that these shapes can function as visual elements within the layout.
The unprecedented challenges which I was maniacally determined to conquer necessitated the creation of many new letter forms which still had to be easily comprehensible to a broad populous who had never viewed them. In short, Man Greater Than Money Font offers an unprecedented degree of perfection within a font.
The Man Greater Than Money Font also introduces the concept of universal accents. Rather than having the potpourri of shapes currently used to represent all the different accents why not simply used a bar, or if the top of the letter form is a peak a dot, to indicate the accent. It is obvious to anyone who is literate in the language what accent the bar or dot represents without having to view the actual corresponding accent shape. Thus, using the universal accent method creates greater visual uniformity.
Of corse, if your not ready to adapt Universal Accents in your work, the Man Greater Than Money Font also contains the traditional accent shapes rendered in a variety of ways and with multiple accent alignments so you can kern (adjust the spacing between letters) your words anyway you please.

How many characters does the Man Greater Than Money Font have? Wow! The Man Greater Than Money Font contains Basics, Alternates, Display figure (not shown to conserve space), Universal Accents, Tabular figures (not shown to conserve space), Diacritics, Flips, Cyrillics (not shown to conserve space), Diphthongs (not shown to conserve space) and Akhand Ligatures (not shown to conserve space). Additionally, I am still adding glyphs all the time and I have not taken the time to count them all but it is well in the tens of thousands. Yes, that's tens of thousands of glyphs, not over a font family, but in a single font that does not even have any minuscules (lowercase letters).
How can I access all the tens of thousands of characters in the Man Greater Than Money Font if my keyboard has nowhere near so many keys? The additional glyphs in the Man Greater Than Money Font can be accessed from the glyphs palette on any of the programs that posse this function.
Will the Man Greater Than Money Font be available as a Google Web Font? I would love to create an additional Google Web Font version of the Man Greater Than Money Font but as of this writing I have yet to hear from anyone on the Google Web Fonts team. I do not know if I have sent my emails to the right place so if you have their contact information please pass it along to me.
Why should I provide two dollars when I can just wait and eventually I can get the Man Greater Than Money Font for free? First off, if you really cannot afford two dollars for a font, just send me an email and I will let you know when it is available to the public and were you can get it for free. Please note that, to my knowledge - which is quite extensive in this area - there is NO other professional quality display font that is anywhere near as expansive. This means that I cannot do a direct comparison on a market place price for such a font. However, an extensive professional quality font family that may still not have as many total unique glyphs will cost you $1,000.00 if not more for a single user license. If your a pro you already know this but if your not, I encourage you to research for yourself what an expansive PROFESSIONAL quality font family license will cost you.
I, however, understand the point you are making: that despite what an incredible value the Man Greater Than Money Font is at a meager $2.00, by ultimately offering it free of any charge, I am creating a disincentive towards baking the project. For that reason I shale release the font in the fallowing manner: If the project raises $1 then all the Basics will be released with the font but only the basics. $6,000 and all the Alternates are also released. $12,000 and all the Display figures (not shown to conserve space) are also released. $24,000 and all the Universal Accents are also released. $40,000 and all the Tabular figures (not shown to conserve space) are also released. $75,000 and all the Diacritics are also released. $125,000 and all the Flips are also released. $175,000 and all the Cyrillics (not shown to conserve space) are also released. $225,000 and all the Diphthongs (not shown to conserve space) are also released. $250,000 and all the Akhand Ligatures (not shown to conserve space) are also released.
In other words the font will be released no matter what, how extensive the font will be right from the start is completely dependent on you. Any portion of the font that is not immediately released will be; just at a later time; perhaps by anther Kick Starter project but that is yet to be determined. I do not care to contemplate failure right now.
