      @blocks If you start today, perhaps the update will be on time. ;-) Lets get some good news but more importantly (for me at least!) more information on the watch OS and a better understanding of the batch system.

      For those who visit here from time to time, all your questions can be answered on my Facebook group!

      In my case: 3.215 out of 5.063, and pledge OK as well.

    5. Jason T about 10 hours ago

      Well at least it's not just me. Must be a Kickstarter glitch or something? Hopefully Blocks has records of our pledges!

      Hi,idk what's going on.I'm still waiting for my blocks...I saw many people got it on public comment and feedback.

    11. Jason T about 21 hours ago

      It actually says January 1st, 1970? What is going on?

    12. Jason T about 21 hours ago

      @blocks all the sudden my pledge says I'm backer number 0 and that I pledged $0 in November of 1970? This is pretty concerning.

    13. Romualdas Maleiška about 23 hours ago

      Hi, my backer's number is 3,370 OK I'm very patient, and I'll wait for further, but you doesn't think so, that after over one years the technologies will be obsolete. I mean processor, sensors and etc. ...

      @BLOCKS at the campaign you said, that watch will be water resistant, if I'm remembering right something like IP67, but on spec. I'm see just splash resistant now. What the story with that? One of the most important thing, why I've choose exactly Blocks Watch, was waterproof. Thanks

      You can connect your smartphone to your watch through both Bluetooth and WiFi

    16. Neil Shah 1 day ago

      @Blocks
      I don't give a damn how much the watch will cost when it's available to the masses. You can sell it for 5 bucks for all I care. I just want my god damn watch, please please please for the love of God don't come up with another delay in the update in 48 hours.

    17. Simeon Thomas 2 days ago

      I'm glad to see some comments in support of Blocks.
      The import tax and customs is hardly a new surprise, I seem to remember it being mentioned during the campaign, although I haven't got the evidence, and to be honest I also can't be bothered to hunt for it.
      Suffice to say I remember there being some surprise from other UK backers back then, until it was explained, then it went away.

      The other thing I wish people would stop is if you've announced you're just going to sell it if/when you get it then by all means do so, but now you've told us we're all aware of your distaste so we don't need reminding, just let people who want to discuss or ask questions do so.

    18. Allun Roberts 2 days ago

      @blocks Well said. For me the import tax came as an unexpected surprise. That's all.

      @Blocks well said. I'm looking forward to the Thursday/Friday update!

    22. Kevin Morgan 2 days ago

      @Blocks I want to say that you are doing a great job, and we are all simply super excited. There is that small % of people who keep posting negative and with questions... I think that all those who are happy (such as myself) are keeping quiet because they have no issues with how you are doing everything! So I am going to speak up on behalf of them and myself saying to ignore all the negativity and know that you guys are doing fantastic! Too many haters in the world... if they didn't want to get involved in a Kickstarter program, then it is their own fault. Stay strong and just know we are all excited!!! :)

    23. Kishore v 2 days ago

      @creator.. +1.. Everyday when I come to the comments section, I see only ppl whining away .. Ppl grow up, let's allow the folks @ BLOCKS to do their jobs..

      Also pls read the T&C carefully, before you start shooting your qns.

    24. RenewableFuture 2 days ago

      We should all be excited and looking forward to our watches
      Maybe sometime somewhere Wel appreciate blocks work
      Cost and shipping is an understandable worry
      I just hope that it get easier and better for blocks because they've not had an easy run just as we've all struggled at times.

    25. Shawn McDonald 2 days ago

      @creator THANK YOU! So sick of hearing everyone complain about one thing or the other. It seems you clear up one gripe and the next one starts. Take time and get this thing done. Ignore the cry babies public posts, respond if they PM you if you want. Again, thanks for hopefully shutting down the discount percent and the amount of taxes the backers COUNTRY is going to charge.

      Almost every project I have backed ends up having a few ppl frustrated because of delays. Anyone who has backed more than a few projects would know that a delivery date of may usually means 6 months later. It's a fact of life. But what ppl forget is that we will be the first ppl to wear this product on our wrist. This is one of the reasons we all jump in and take a chance on a new device. I understand ppl are frustrated, but realistically there's nothing u can do. Complaining will not get blocks delivered any faster. Dec, Jan or Feb, it will be delivered when it's delivered. Two weeks after u have it all this will be forgotten. I have been following this project from the very beginning, two years I think. I'm excited that I'm only a few months from holding it in my hand.

      We are getting a little tired of these amateur kickstarter-comment-section "lawyers" making demands of us all the time. It's unfair on the rest of the backers for us to waste time and resources responding to these kind of comments and so we will conclude the current on-going discussion, and no further such discussion shall be entertained here. We will of course respond to any legitimate legal inquiries by other forms of communications such as email as necessary.

      @Bruce
      In a (hopefully conclusive) response to all of your comments...

      Nothing has been fraudulently misrepresented. Your Kickstarter pledge was not advertised as and is not a "discount code". You seem to have got this misconception from the fact that the description of the pledge included the sentence "Save 35% off retail price!". Clearly this is an observation of the fact that the amount which you pledge is 35% lower than the cost we had intended for retail at the time.

      We are sorry you misunderstood, but we are in no way obliged to fix our retail price permanently, and so unfortunately you are not entitled to continuous discounts throughout the life of the product (that would be nice for you though, wouldn't it!).

      Also another source of confusion we have noticed: The pre-orders are not retail. And so the pre-order price is not the retail price.

      Finally and most importantly, you should note that since we are retailing from the US, our retail price does not include taxes or import duties either, in the same way the kickstarter pledge does not. Although this may change completely at our discretion.

      So please feel free to re-adjust your calculations to guess what our minimum retail price is, but you should note from the above arguments that we can change that at our discretion as well.

      You should note that our claims of % difference from retail price are made in good faith and we will endeavour to stick to them as much as possible, but as we mentioned in previous comments, we will not disclose the current intended retail price here.

      And so the "significant legal implications" you mention are unfounded, as were all of the people quoting UK consumer laws at us with regards to KS pledges etc. etc. As well as wasting our time, this also creates confusion amongst other backers.

      Like we said above, we don't want to spend our time on this but we will try our best to clear up any legitimate confusion where we can :)

      @Hoze
      The current delivery plan is a monthly batch system starting from December ending approximately February :)

    29. Hoze 2 days ago

      I am a bit lost. What is the current delivery plan? November? December ? 2017? 2020?

      Cheers

    30. BLOCKS Wearables Creator 3 days ago

      @Bruce
      The retail price will AT LEAST be 37.5% higher than the price of the device as advertised during the Kickstarter. If you can find us or a retailer selling the device below that, report it to us :)

    31. Bruce Davies 3 days ago

      @Blocks Please can I just clarify that you're not prepared to substantiate a discount advertised in order to secure a pledge? I need to check with you, as I'm sure you will appreciate, as there are significant legal implications and need to be sure of having given you due opportunity to address my question.

      @Dim
      Yes, you are. Of course ;)

      @Allun
      Batch system will be explained in the updates.

      @Bruce
      Revealing official retail price before we hit retail is plain unprofessional, I'm sorry I can't answer that. When the price is finally out there, you can do the math and get in touch if you have any questions.

    34. Allun Roberts 3 days ago

      @blocks @Dim I'll pay more than $50 to get first dibs!

    35. Bruce Davies 3 days ago

      @Blocks Please explain what retail price you consider to be 37.5% higher than the price I will be paying to receive my Blocks, taking into consideration that you always intended that I would pay import taxes and duties.

    36. Allun Roberts 4 days ago

      @blocks How does the batch system work, is it ordered by backer number, members the backers, who paid most? Etc ?
