About this project

Risks and challenges

Dinosaur artists Bob Walters and Tess Kissinger are the experts behind DinosaurChannel.TV. They have 30 years experience in producing dinosaur projects for TV, museums and live shows, so there is not much risk that these shows will not be made. While it is true that Bob and Tess don't know everything about dinosaurs, they do know everyone who does! At this budget level, our backers should feel highly confident that the first seasons of "Drawing Dinosaurs: and "Dinosaurs In The News" will have quality production value and interactivity.

We already have rewards lined up and are working with the New Jersey State Museum for specific rewards. We have recruited talented people who have already spent long hours to help put the station together so we are sure of our talent. Constant web access, interactivity and safety are challenges but we have one of the most experienced webmasters on board.

The real risk, I am reminded by the staff, is an asteroid impact.

    TYRANNOSAURUS REX LEVEL- You and your guest will join paleontologists from the New Jersey State Museum for a week on a real paleontological expedition to the fossil rich rocks of Montana and Wyoming next summer. This is a serious museum expedition, not just a field trip. You must be at least 14 years old and dinosaur hunters under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult. You will stay in comfortable field camp cabins in Red Lodge Montana. DinosaurChannel.TV will provide your lodgings, meals, collecting tools and equipment, transportation to and from the Billings Montana airport to the main camp as well as transportation to and from all field sites. Kickstarter does not allow us to provide air travel as that would make this a travel package which is not allowed, instead of an experience, which is. All of your instruction and educational materials will come from hands on work experience beside New Jersey State paleontologists. Plus! YOU will be the DinosaurChannel field reporter and your experiences and discoveries will be broadcast in episodes of Dinosaurs In The News!
