Yes! The clipping mechanism is the same, so you can use the WINGBRUSH2.0 handle with the old refills. One difference is the length of the brushes; the new brushes are 2mm longer. However, we do not recommend to use the old handle with our new Refill brushes.
Our range of three different brush sizes implies that you can choose the perfect size for your interdental gaps. Your gaps may vary, so maybe you need more than one size. In our Starter Set you will find all three sizes and you can test, which one fits.
The brush should fit comfortable into your interdental spaces. If you have to force it heavily into the interdental space, it is too big. If you do not know your size, our Starter Set in combination with the Refill Set ISO 0 is perfect to get started.
Like a toothbrush, you can wash the WINGBRUSH and it brushes and use it again. The life-time depends on how often you use it and how well you clean it.
We recommend to change the brushes of the WINGBRUSH weekly for an optimal cleaning effect.
No. In general, young people should start with interdental cleaning from the age of 16. Young people usually still have teeth standing very close to each other with relatively "a lot" of gum. With growing older, bone and gums naturally recede and the spaces between the teeth become larger. However in special cases e.g. braces etc. the WINGBRUSH can be very useful. In this case contact your dentist for individual advice.
Of course, the WINGBRUSH is perfect for people with braces. Tooth decay and gum disease can be the result of plaque between your braces. The WINGBRUSH helps you to access the space between the wire (usually inaccessible with floss) and your teeth to prevent plaque.
