Printing Book 1 of the webcomic "Not A Villain" which is about a wanted but semi-reformed hacker living in a virtual reality.
Currently existing as a free webcomic, my story Not A Villain is seeking embodiment in the oh-so-cool-dead-tree format and wishes to live in wilder and stranger places than just the internet. But we've got this villainous No Money Reality hovering over us so we're looking for some heroes to swoop in and save the day.
Not A Villain is about a semi-reformed hacker girl named Kleya who's trying to live quietly in a virtual reality that is extremely hostile to anything resembling hacking.
The book will compile the first 132 pages with touched-up art and lettering plus a 4-page, never-before-seen short story of when Kleya first enters L.i.F.e (the virtual reality everyone uses). It will also include world-building stuff, like a map of L.i.F.e., and as many incentives and extra artwork I can fit in the leftover pages.
The real BIG dream is to print 2,000 softcover (ie: tradeback) copies plus a limited and numbered Hardcover run with a fancier cover in a really nice quality. But that shot the cost waaaay over $10,000. I may have a habit of living in dreamland but even I know that's a really big fight for a bunch of new heroes at the get-go.
Enter Dream B: 1,000 softcover copies in a durable quality, plus ISBN, shipping/handling, fees and taxes, and it comes to a more manageable $8,000 goal.
Note: Kickstarter is an all-or-nothing platform. If we don't reach the goal amount then all pledges will be cancelled and this cool dream will rest in my large graveyard of too-cool-to-live dreams. Sniff.
You get to be heroes! And make Kleya (the main character) very jealous.
You'll also get several perks depending on the pledge level you pick. They're listed on your right. Simply click on the one that appeals to you and follow the instructions.
The unlocked stories refer to the rewards I'll give if we overfund (see next section). They'll be available to all backers if unlocked.
The "print" is this 14X11 fancier version of the cover art.
Ideally, this will be the cover art for the limited hardback version, but it's a print for now.
For the Be-A-Blob rewards, they've become a running gag. It used to take me several hours to draw one, single person, so when the story called for crowd scenes, I about died. There was no possibility of drawing all the needed crowd people and still keep my twice-a-week update. So I invented 'blob people' and have used them ever since (including using them to poke fun at my own art skills). However, I can now draw people much faster and want to add in some colored people like the first couple of pages have. And thus YOU get a chance to be in this book!

For the Game Blobs, you'd be replacing these blobs shown on page 119.
Since it's part of the Game you can be really bizarre; different skin color, weird hair, over-done outfits, and the like. It does need to be tasteful, though, and be something I could feasibly draw. I will, of course, make a heroic effort to make you look awesome!

If You Turn Into Super Heroes (ie:Overfund):
I'd probably break something from all the happy jumping first. Then I'd confine myself to a (hopefully comfy) chair and start spilling out all the stretch goals I have in mind, the first and foremost being the limited hardcover edition!
Also, I'd start producing chapters of the side comic of Annie (it will explore more of the world of 'Not A Villain', but with a relaxed plot pace that'll run alongside the main plot. Think slice-of-life style in a post-apocalyptic virtual reality. Read her introductory comic here.) and include it for free to all backers. I'll spell out the other dreams once this becomes a realistic possibility.
