Six piece soul & funk powerhouse from south Georgia releasing their first full length studio effort!
Hey guys! just this past November Those Cats spent the weekend at Full Moon Studios in Watkinsville, Georgia doing some basic tracking for our first full length studio album! Things are off to a solid start, but a lot goes into making a quality album besides just basic tracking. Each song has to mixed and mastered followed by the process of album design/packaging, promotions, distribution, and travel. All of these factors add up and as a group of musicians working day jobs to pay the rent and bills [some of us in school], our resources are limited.
We've decided to launch a Kickstarter campaign to fund the remaining elements needed to produce a quality album for all to hear. Each amount of money pledged towards our goal comes with some really cool prizes [check em out to the right >>>] We have 30 days to reach our goal of $3000, and if we accomplish that we are able to make the album we've always dreamed of + you guys come away with some really cool stuff! If we don't reach our goal in 30 days no money is spent [by you] or received [by us] and we are back to square one! :(
We've been writing, gigging, and playing together as Those Cats for the past three years and getting this album off the ground and running means the world to us! All your support is greatly appreciated and please help us by spreading the word of our Kickstarter project!

As with any creative project, risks and challenges can arise. We've done our best to outline several contingency plans concerning mixing, mastering, and packaging, to ensure a quality product with a projected release date of early 2014! We take great care in our work and giving back to the fans who have supported us over the years. With a direct line of communication, we hope to stay connected with everyone about the project's progress from start to finish!
