Chef Avi is a cool, fun Rabbi that put himself through college as a chef in four star restaurants. Besides for being a Rabbi, he runs a TV production company for hire. He has produced numerous cooking shows on PBS, corporate and non profit videos generating over 100 million dollars and earned over 30 national Emmy and Telly awards.
Chef Avi has always had a dream to be in front of the camera, teaching and inspiring people how to prepare amazing kosher dishes, without the hassle and high costs associated with kosher dining.
We need funds to purchase a new wardrobe, building an indoor and outdoor functional cooking set, hiring a graphic artist to prepare logos, pay for additional technical crew, purchase extra HD cameras, retain Public Relations and Social Media agencies and book flights to pitch the show in person to TV networks in California and New York.
Risks and challenges
We have tested the show in focus groups and the results were outstanding. Google organic and kosher cooking and you will see that this is one of the hottest trends in the world and people of all different religions are preparing kosher dishes only.
Through our research, there is not even one true Kosher Celebrity Chef on the Food Network and only a handful of chefs on the web that educate consumers on how to accurately prepare kosher dishes without putting you to sleep.
The challenge in producing this type of show is the volume of content needed to maintain a audience annually. Our plan is to produce a show that will air every Wednesday evening, so people can purchase the ingredients on Thursday and be prepared for their Friday night Sabbath dinner.
The risks are minimal. We have all the experience to produce the shows, as our veteran crew has worked in the industry for over 30 years. We have the connections with networks such as Bravo , NBC and the Food Network. Also, our plan is post every episode and clips up to Blip and Youtube so consumers worldwide will get to view Avi in action even if a TV network never picks up the program.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
