About

Like The Critical Path before it, the Micromobility podcast has been exceptionally well received. A real-time chronicle of the dawn of a new age: this time, the ‘unbundling of the car.’ The podcast is hosted by myself (Horace Dediu) and Oliver Bruce and serves as witness to a Disruption whose impact is only beginning to be felt. We were there before most and our listeners became the leaders of a movement.

Just as with The Critical Path: The First Year, we thought that many of the thoughtful listeners of Micromobility would appreciate a way to reference, annotate and share what has been discussed, debated and wondered about.

In addition to electronic and printed books, we are also offering some exciting live experiences as well as artwork based on some of Horace's charts which have been referenced and cited worldwide.

Funds will be used to cover the hard costs of each tier, such as transcribing the podcasts and printing the book and art.

Horace Dediu is the founder and author of Asymco and co-host of the Micromobility and Critical Path podcasts on 5by5.tv. He is widely cited on topics related to mobility, computing and the disruptive forces therein.

In addition to co-hosting the Micromobility podcast, Oliver Bruce is an angel investor and leads the AngelList Micromobility VC syndicate. Previously he was with Uber in Australia and New Zealand working on strategic projects and business development. He lives in Wellington, New Zealand.

Thanks for considering supporting this project.

Risks and challenges

Funds will be used to cover the hard costs of each tier, such as transcribing the podcasts and printing the book and art. We are quite confident that the minimum will cover the requirements to bring these rewards to life.
