I glad you guys like the art style, I spent a lot of time developing it.
As far as other prisoners, I don't want to give anything away now, so I'll keep mum about that.
The artististic style and attention to detail present in even the cracks in the platforms and such is impressive. I look forward to seeing Paper Sorcerer progress and to seeing the new art assets as they are released.
Might there be hints to the nature of the other prisoners within the story line? I think the idea that there may be more powerful inhabitants than the player in the "prison" is an exciting one. It opens up great possibilities within the world. I'm excited to find out more.

The framerate is entirely due to the program I'm using to record footage, it's smooth ingame, but between the program I'm using to record and the settings in my video editor, it ends up looking choppy.
I'd like to have sprites in towns. Whether I do it depends on if I can make it work well and look good simultaneously. For most events and stuff in dungeon, it's mostly going to occur in text boxes, similar to how they do it in Etrian Odyssey.
Love the style, looking forward to playing it.
