Steam keys sent out to backers!

Check your inboxes for your own shiny Steam key!

I've added 30+ achievements to the Steam version to help you keep track of the secrets you find, etc. You can also look forward to badges and trading cards once I figure out how to ship those.

The only downside is that for now, the Steam version is PC only.

I'm working out Steam integration for Mac/Linux, but all the OS's deal with dll files differently apparently. So even though Unity builds to PC/Mac/Linux, I need to integrate the game into Steam differently for each. For now, it's just PC on Steam.

Thanks once again, Paper Sorcerer couldn't have gone this far without your help!

Steam PC release!

After a successful Greenlight campaign, and if everything goes off without a hitch, Paper Sorcerer should be launching at 10 AM PST today, January the 22nd. The initial release is PC only. I've got to figure out the difference in programming for Mac and Linux dll files, will update when those go up.

Thanks for all your support everyone, I couldn't have done it without all your help!

For now backers, just sit tight. I'm figuring out a way to send out keys to everybody in a timely manner, forgive me if it takes a little while to figure out, as I've 2000+ keys to send out (including purchases). 

I've started working on backer rewards now that the game has released, so you can expect a steady trickle of backer reward previews to show up in the next couple of updates.

Paper Sorcerer Avatars, Greenlight campaign

Hey guys, I had all these images for portraits and stuff in the game, thought you guys might like to use them as avatars!  

Each album contains all the square images at the size listed. Right click the image, "Save As" somewhere on your computer, and set your Avatar on Kickstarter and elsewhere to spread the Paper Sorcerer love! On Kickstarter, you can change it by clicking on Me -> Edit Settings -> Picture. 

You can also download the whole avatar set as a zip file if you like, just click the Download on the right panel of the album. Or download them all from the Ultra Runaway website! 

The Greenlight campaign is going alright, but it could be doing even better! Remember to tell all your friends about it, there's a Paper Sorcerer Facebook, twitter, and Google + as well!

Those of you that've played might notice the icon is different here, I've updated it to be more legible at small sizes, hope you like it.

Version 1.5: New content, editable controls

If you don't see an email in your inbox, check if it went in you spam folder [it's from ultrarunaway at gmail or contact at ultrarunaway]. For gmail, double check your Promotions tab, and if you find it there, you can move the email from the Promotions tab to the Primary tab and that will make sure all Ultra Runaway emails go there. If you still don't see it, email me at contact at ultrarunaway dot com and I'll reply with the download info.  

This build has new usability features, and also new content! There's a new series of puzzles near the end of the game, which I'm sure you'll enjoy. The main usability feature is on the main menu, a way to rebind your controls, which I'm sure will especially help those using non-QWERTY keyboards.

Various small bugs have also been ironed out, and as of this last update cycle I haven't gotten any more reports of major bugs. If you've been playing earlier versions, saves since v1.2 are all compatible.

I'm going to start preparing the soundtrack for $10+ backers, are there any formats other than .mp3 and FLAC that you guys would want? I've also been getting a reasonable number of queries about purchasing the soundtrack, would you guys mind if I put the digital soundtrack/artbook up for sale? I'd get it out to backers first, of course.

Thinking about mobile and backer rewards makes me start to feel like we're approaching the finish line. Thanks for all the support, I really appreciate it!
