CONCEPT ART COMPLETED SO FAR:
WIP GREEN OF THE PALADIN:
Half-orcs are incredibly fun to play. They're tougher than your average PC and anytime you do something brash, impulsive, ill-timed, rude, and/or unnecessarily violent you can just claim that you're acting "in character" and all is forgiven! You can finally bring the more brutal part of your personality to the gaming table without any shame!
The miniatures will be cast in 100% lead-free pewter (Old school!) and the Half-orcs will measure approximately 32mm to the eyes.
We also have a lot of awesome non-half-orc characters to be added. As you can see, we've already got a Tengu and a Hobgoblin added to the line up, and we have plans to do a lot more as the Kickstarter progresses.
Be sure to check back regularly as we develop more Half-orcs, Half-Dragons, Tengu, Hobgoblins, Gremlins, cats, and mystical objects.
The half-orcs will be as tall or taller than the elves, and much bulkier!
CHARACTERS ADDED INSPIRED BY BACKER SUGGESTIONS!
The Tengu are a race of tricksters. They are sneaky, conniving, and easily distracted by shiny objects. This makes the Tengu the perfect PC for almost anyone who's a fan of pewter minis!
Hobgoblins are fierce fighters and crafty negotiators. The Hobgoblin Archer has a keen eye for the weaknesses of his enemies.
The half-orc Barbarian is a force to be reckoned with. The veteran of many battles, she often takes a practical (punching) approach to problem solving.
The Tengu Mage is a treasure hunter supreme. His sharp eyes and quick wits earn him vast fortunes...which he almost immediately gambles away.
Those with orc blood are exceedingly clever at anything involving destruction. The Mechanist fills such a role. He's always prepared to create a death bot,rig a trap, or build a steam-powered ballista.
The offspring of both dragon and man, Half-Dragons are deadly warriors and faithful allies.
The Gladiator fights for gold and glory in the Grand Arena. Adept at both combat and theatre, he has quickly become a crowd favorite.
The Urmahlullu Druid hails from the Endless Veldt. Her kind have long lived and hunted there amidst the sea of grass. A proud people, they have little patience for the niceties of the more "civilized" races.
The pious Half-Orc Cleric has taken vows more powerful than death. Only through unwavering dedication can he absolve himself of what he once was.
The accompanying cross will be sculpted separately along with several (fantasy) icons as bits that can be added to the Cleric as you see fit.
The Icon Sprue contains several holy and/or ancient relics.
The Half-Orc Bard skillfully inspires her comrades to amazing feats and deafens her foes with her war drums.
Obsessed with wealth, lucky beyond belief, the Half-Orc Thief never misses his mark or loses at cards. Watch your saddlebags and purse-strings, beware the evil behind the smiling eyes.
Just an ordinary (if somewhat plump) cat who has taken to following your adventuring party. Seems to live up to the whole "scaredy cat" thing though and runs at the first sign of trouble.
Also included: The mysterious diminutive wizard who always shows up in the nick of time to save the group from disaster and certain death.
The Half-Orc Ranger is an enthusiastically brutal force for good. His blades are guided by a keen sense of honor and equality...with a healthy dose of humor.
Half-Orcs often inherit the resilience of their monstrous progenitors. Add to that full plate armor and a tower shield and you have an individual who is very, very hard to kill. The Half-Orc Warrior is one such individual.
Fascinated by the magic of gnomish firearms, the future Pistoleer sought out their secrets. For years she worked the bellows, watching amazed as the gunsmiths worked arcane wonders. Slowly, she grew to understand.
The Oni have long oppressed the Orcs and the other races of the far east. The Oni Enforcer is tasked with the collection of taxes and the suppression of uprisings. He be cast in high quality resin and will measure approximately 65mm to the eyes. The Oni counts as a "troll" and cannot be chosen for the $10, $35, and $66 reward levels.
The Half-Orc Necromancer cheerfully goes about the work of raising armies of the dead to conquer the living.
The Mysterious Stranger rode into town at dusk, his strange goggles reflecting the last rays of the desert sun. Back then, we all figured gremlins were just a campfire tale. Wish to the pit I still did.
Hedgehogs have a long and glorious history as familiars and as pets. This one seems to be trying to tell you something.
Tengu Samurai are probably the least honorable. As such they often travel the land as ronin, seeking what mercenary work they can find.
Contrary to popular belief, Half-Orcs are just as likely to be raised as Undead skeletal minions as any other race. I suppose they really were "big boned" after all...
The Grippli Witch Doctor is both powerful and wise. His people come to him for counsel as well as for healing.
With lightning reflexes and a higher than average toughness rating, the Half-Dragon Duelist is one it would be wise not to insult.
Despite the cultural bias towards brute force, Half-Orcs have shown time and again that they are no less mentally capable than full-blooded humans. The Half-Orc Scholar is a prime example of a half-orc that displays a good deal more than average intelligence. Unsurprisingly, this doesn't replace brute force, but rather makes it more effective.
A Nobleman can hardly be seen at the theatre in battle armor. The son and heir of a Duke, orc mother or not, must dress the part.
The Grippli Anurarch is the most powerful political figure among the tribes. You would do well to impress her.
The Half-Orc Spellblade combines powerful physical attacks with magical effects to devastate her foes.
Looks like someone has knocked our rear entrance guard unconscious...again. Why don't we hire more alert guards?
The Grippli Pickpocket has a weakness for shiny trinkets. He often breaks into other peoples places of residence and takes them whilst doing harm to the occupants. Just a normal adventurer then?
These half-orc kids face a world where magic is commonplace and gnomes are allowed to carry firearms. It's not going to be easy.
While the Hengeyokai Songbird and Messenger are the dutiful servants of their larger Tengu lords, they can be somewhat flighty at times.
The Corgi seems to really dislike that mysterious diminutive wizard. He's fine with the cat.

Risks and challenges
The main risk in this project is that (due to circumstances out of our control) the miniatures will be delivered later than we planned.
That being said, we've done this before and with shorter deadlines. We've ironed out the kinks in the process and we've been open and honest about what we are doing every step of the way.
While we do have to send portions of the project out (for casting, writing, etc.) to be completed, these are companies/individuals that we have established relationships with and are familiar with their time-tables and craftsmanship.
We're confident and excited about producing these miniatures and getting them out into your hands and onto your tabletops!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
