The brand new show 'Little Red' is centred around the classic tale of Little Red Riding Hood, orchestrated with puppets, music and magic! Join Little Red, Granny and Wolfie for interactive fun in The Rose Theatre, Kingston upon Thames.
CAPTCHA Theatre was formed in 2012 by actor and puppeteers Rachel Cash & Ellie Redshaw. Together they composed an original children's puppet show about recycling, made from recycled materials - including Ebert the egg box who dreamed of becoming a newspaper. 'Tipsville' was performed in various venues and for The International Youth Arts Festival (IYAF), you can see archives of this show at: www.captchatheatre.co.uk
Funds for 'Little Red' are needed at this stage for two major necessities: performance materials and promo, without this there is no show. Everything is composed and carved from scratch for your unique theatrical experience!
Risks and challenges
Shows for tots under 6 are rare. We want to fill the imaginations of young minds through traditional creativity with the platform of The Rose Theatre, Kingston. We need strong marketing and good quality show materials to make a memorable experience for the audience and draw in a new crowd too.
Balancing the promo and the set up of the whole performance is a challenge, with a small budget combined with the artistic demands of the show. Everything is made from scratch, from the music to the hair on Little Red's head!
We plan to overcome these issues with your help covering the basic materials budget and in return we'll dedicate our time and passion to make something incredible!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
