Let's Fall In Love is a Senior Thesis Film produced by a team of passionate film students from Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. After having spent the last four years learning the craft of filmmaking, we are now preparing to create our most important film yet.
This twenty-minute, short film tells an uplifting story about the dreams of a common man. We intend to create a world filled with magic, seen through the eyes of an optimistic theater usher, George, whose dreams of falling in love with his favorite silent film actress one day comes true.
Marion Knott Studios will generously provide our production with a Sony F65 camera (used on films such as Will Smith’s “After Earth”), along with a full grip and lighting package. Eager to capture the magic and essence of the “Golden Age of Hollywood," we plan to film in the Warner Grand Theatre. Opened to the public in 1931, this art deco theater is just as beautiful and majestic as it was eighty-two years ago.
In order to pay for this theater, along with our other locations, transportation, props, and costumes, we need your financial help. Our team has a beautiful vision for this film; a vision we want more than anything to be real. We are relying upon your support to help make this film and would be incredibly grateful for any donation you could give. Your financial contributions mean the world (and the film) to us. Thank you!

Risks and challenges
Once the necessary funds have been acquired, our greatest challenge will be to successfully create a film within a film. Within the larger film of "Let's Fall In Love," we will also be making a 1920's silent film, starring our fictional character, Eliza Fairchild. We plan to project this film in the theater where George works.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
