**Proudly made in the USA**The Capricorn is not designed to be a pocket tool – it’s designed to be a pocket companion.
Unlike traditional pocket tools, the Capricorn’s design focuses on the use of hooks, allowing it to be used in a variety of different ways to suit your lifestyle. Whether you’re a novice or an experienced multi-tool user, the Capricorn will prove to be a vital addition to your everyday carry.
The Capricorn’s proprietary design is centered around three hooks. However, to increase functionality, these hooks are integrated with useful tools.
- Main Hook - The largest hook at the bottom of the Capricorn can attach to your belt loop or a backpack and help suspend other items. It can also be used as a handle while the other hooks are being utilized.
- Pocket Clip/Hook - The pocket clip makes the Capricorn easily accessible while suspending your keychain to prevent an uncomfortable clump at the bottom of your pocket. The pocket clip can also be utilized as a hook for items such as bags while the main hook is used as a belt loop or handle.
- Bottle Opener, 1/4" Hexagonal Wrench, Mini Hook - The mini hook, being wide and shallow, is intended for more temporary tasks such as lifting a hot pot or dutch oven off of a stove or fire. Additionally, this hook doubles as a bottle opener, and the ¼” opening can be used as a hex wrench for standard quarter inch bits.

Quick note on Titanium Colors and Splash:
Notice how "electric" the blue seems? This is with the titanium reflecting sunlight back at the camera. Now, here's the same set-up, taken less than a minute later. Nothing has changed except the camera angle.
This time, the piece appears a lot darker, and almost purple in hue. These pictures of the pieces try to represent the colors as honestly as possible, but given the inherent color variation in titanium, camera used, and your computer screen's color rendition, we cannot guarantee the piece you receive will match the screen's color 100%. They'll look very close, and will look the same under specific lighting conditions. It's just how titanium is. This is just a quick notice because we do not want to disappoint anyone due to differences between their expectations and actual color portrayal.
On a more positive note, the "splash" effect is done so that every single piece is random. Your splashed piece is inherently unique due to the process. That being said, it is impossible for us to duplicate the splash patterns, so the pieces shown on screen will have different patterns from the one you actually receive. We aim to splash each piece with the same "amount" of splash, although exact patterns will be different.

Risks and challenges
This is our first Kickstarter project, and we know that some people might feel uncomfortable with our lack of experience. That’s why we've taken steps to ensure this project is as risk-free as possible.
What you see here is the finished, final design. The tool in the above pictures and video was cut from the same sheets of titanium, by the same manufacturer, using the same design, as the actual production run. This means the above tool is the exact same as the one you’ll receive. We feel this nearly eliminates all risk in design and creation, because all that is required to begin production is to order titanium and inform the manufacturers of how many pieces to produce. As stated earlier, we are hand finishing and inspecting each piece to make sure it is perfect for you to use when it arrives.
As for distributing the Capricorns, we will ship them starting with our Early Bird backers, followed by the rest of our backers. Once the campaign is successfully funded, pieces will be promptly manufactured, finished and inspected, anodized and splashed (depending on what you ordered), and shipped not long afterwards.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
While we can't guarantee your keys will stay on your Capricorn no matter what, our testing shows that keys will be retained by the Capricorn through ordinary EDC usage. The reason being when used in the methods demonstrated, the gap will always be at the top end of the Capricorn, meaning the design will work with gravity to keep your keys where they should be. Here's a quick youtube video to show the retention of the system. https://www.youtube.com/watch…
