Seven minutes in heaven?
Funny… that’s about the time it takes to play one side of a record from Bubbles in the Think Tank. Luckily, with the record, you get to flip it over.
We want to make something for you to take into that closet with you to spend time with someone who may become that someone special.
We want to make something for you that you can enjoy in the dark, in a small space.
We want you to have 7 Inches In Heaven, the next record about records for Record Store Day!
It’s our fourth record for you…nearing too much to stack on your record changer!
And we’ve been making big plans for this one. We want to keep you enthralled the entire time you spend with us in heaven.
How could you not with a lineup like this?
The Hi-Risers - B's Knee, based in Rochester, NY, the Hi-Risers play energetic, song-oriented & roll band and toured all over the world.
Wreckless Eric & Amy Rigby - Eric is probably best known for the classic Stiff Records track "Whole Wide World" and Amy for her album "Diary of a Mod Housewife" - together they've been making music together for 8 years.
The Dot Wiggin Band - Yes, it's Dot Wiggin of The Shaggs! The Shaggs were a family band from Fremont, NH who recorded the 1969 album "Philosophy of the World", which is included in Rolling Stone magazine's list "The 100 Most Influential Alternative Releases of All Time."
Zoë Lewis & Chandler Travis - it's a meeting of two Cape Cod-based Omnipop all-stars! The Boston Herald said Zoe mixes "Quirky lyrics, a little jazz, a little salsa, and a lot of enjoyment" and John Donohue of The New Yorker says that Chandler writes "playful original songs that mix mind-bending wordplay with jazz, shimmering rock, and horn-fuelled R & B"
J. Cournoyer - You may know him from Calamity J and the Giants, drummer for any number of Cape Cod greats or even playing with Mumble & Peg(!). Now you will know him as a member of the Bubbles in the Think Tank Stable of Stars!
Plus, you know how much we like to be in your hand. So this package promises to be one you’ll never want to put down with Courtney Waite in charge of the cover and the most fabulous J.D. King taking care of the label and vinyl.
And you know us… there will be other goodies only for the Kickstarter folks. We’d have it no other way!
But I talk to you like you know what I’m talking about. I’ve been accused of the inside game before, but it’s only because I know how smart you are. Yes, flattery still gets you everywhere at Bubbles in the Think Tank.
This is year #4 of Bubbles in the Think Tank presenting a record about record for Record Store Day. It’s made us happy, it’s made you happy (or at least others similar to you), and it’s been sillier than we could have imagined.
The thing is, though, that we can’t do it without you. Especially YOU!!! You know it’s all about love at Bubbles in the Think Tank. Sometimes we just need for you to demonstrate that love in very concrete ways. This is one of those times.
We need at least 50 people to show the love to help us make this record. Those of you who’ve done it before know exactly how worth it this project is. Maybe you should even post a comment…just a suggestion.
You’ll get great music and silliness, tons of love, and probably the prettiest package we can give you. But again, it’s all about the love, so that’s really the best part.
So with that kind of love, we’re now asking you to help us make this record. We’re asking for just enough money to pay for production and still lose money. Because that’s really the only way to make a record, right? But hey...if we do manage to make it all back this time, half of all proceeds will go to the radio station that makes it all possible, WMFO.
Just remember, it's nice to be nice when you know that you're nice.
As we told you last year (and we still mean it):
We want you to be a part of this project, not just to buy a record. Bubbles in the Think Tank is always what the listeners make of it. We're here to provide that firm guiding hand to help you find the way.
Thanks again for all your support in so many ways over the years. We love you all.

Risks and challenges
Bubbles in the Think Tank is proud to have successfully produced and fulfilled 3 previous records funded by supporters like you on Kickstarter.
But we're not without our fears having backed less than perfect projects in the past. So we know things can go wrong. Heck, we've had things go wrong!
The two biggest risks for us (given successful fundraising) are the aggressive timeline we set to make our self imposed Record Store Day deadline and the possibility of an artist dropping out after we've announced them.
To date, neither has happened to us. This year we will be working with a new manufacturer, Pirates Press. They have a fabulous reputation and seem genuinely enthused about our project. We're confident that our artists, staff and manufacturer will all do everything possible to assure you have this record in your hand by Record Store Day!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
