We wanted to see if Wool Fresh could rid odors better than merino wool. We used butyric acid (this stuff smells most than B.O.) as the control odor. During the test, Wool Fresh eliminated odors 3x more than merino wool. In fact, within 7 hours, Wool Fresh removed so much odor that it wasn’t even detectable by the human nose.

Why we are on Kickstarter: We are here because we need your support. From the money raised, we will use it to finish up our research, cover the legal costs to protect our IP, and fund the production run for our Wool Fresh socks. We thank you so much!
Shipping: Please take note. We will be charging shipping after the Kickstarter concludes based on the actual costs incurred to ship. We will collect this via our pledge manager after the campaign ends. This is so we can be fair to all our backers as shipping is rarely one size fits all, and also give you more stretch goodies and possibly a choice of carrier options. You will choose your sock size when the project is fully funded. We will send out a survey at the end of the project to gather your details.

To help ensure many happy miles with your Wool Fresh socks we recommend that you machine wash them in warm water on gentle cycle with socks in-side out. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low. Do not dry clean.

We’ve developed a proprietary process to clean and freshen wool to make socks wearable for 30 days with no smell. The Wool Fresh Technology has been under development for the last 3 years. We are happy to have a product ready for you to try.

We are unsure at the moment. A lot of the timing will depend on the success of the campaign. We are 100% focused on getting our backers their socks first. Once we deliver our last sock to our last backer, then we’ll think about other ways to get our socks out there.
