Upgrade to charcoal black! Add a glif iPhone adapter to your package!

Hi all,

Two quick announcements regarding color choice as well as a new glif package:

1) Upgrade to charcoal black! We are now allowing anyone who has currently pledged for a white radian (regardless of tier!) to upgrade to black. All you have to do is increase your pledge amount by the appropriate amount using the following guidelines and choose charcoal black in the survey that we will send out after fundraising ends.

If you pledged for a:

Single Radian: $20
Buddypack: only $20 to upgrade both (save $20!)
Pan/tilt combo: Free upgrade for both! No need to do anything just yet.

2) Add a glif. We are now offering glif smartphone adapters! A glif is only compatible with iPhones, while capta is compatible with all smartphones. Check out the appropriate links for more info.

- For current pledgers, all you have to do is increase your pledge amount by $20 for every additional glif that you want, and we'll send out a survey later.

That's all for now, folks. To reiterate over and over, the team here is incredibly grateful for everyone's continued support, and we're still very much working hard behind to the scenes to get Radian into your hands. If you have any questions or comments, please don't hesitate to send us a message and we will reply as soon as possible. We can't stress how much open communication is important to us, and we will keep everyone up to date post-kickstarter as well.

4 more days left! Keep telling your friends and family, and if you haven't picked a Radian up yet, now is the time!

Thank you,

The Radian Team

Is there a way to upgrade to get the L-Bracket? Just add $40?

    4. Creator Kris Cheng on August 16, 2012

I'll take the lack of a response to my question as a no... :(

@James - message us and we can try to work something out
@Over the river - thanks for helping us answer questions!
@Shanna - unfortunately, we are selling the glifs pretty much at cost, so we cannot afford to do that. Wish we could, though! :)
@Simon - Yep, you'll get a survey where you can indicate your color preference.

I'm currently backing the vertical radian package, if I upgrade to the Pan/tilt combo package will I get it in black?

    8. Creator James Brown on August 15, 2012

I was one of the limited $125 pledgers for a single Radian, but am interested in upgrading to the pan/tilt combo package, if I did this I would need to pay and additional $250 (excluding International Shipping).

Can I add a $150 for a second Radian and $80 for 2 x modified L-brackets and pay $355 rather than the $375 price for the pan/tilt combo package?

I would be happy with either charcoal black or standard white models.

I understand if this is not possible but decided to ask as I am trying to keep the price low as I expect to have to pay significant Customs Duty as a percentage of the total purchase value.

How about an included glif for existing charcoal backers?

    10. Creator TheEndless on August 15, 2012

Any chance of the early bird backers getting the option to upgrade to charcoal as a show of appreciation for being your earliest supporters? :D

Victor Carrano ~ Go to the Home page of the project and scroll down. The "color" version is charcoal black. You can see it on that page.
