Rein[Forced] is an electro-industrial band based in Pittsburgh, PA. Their third CD, X Amount of Stabwounds in the Back is set to be released in the Summer of 2011. They are seeking funding for mixing, mastering and artwork costs. The art of the new record will be done by Urbanite By Design's own Byron Winton and will be mixed and mastered by Dan Clark of The Dark Clan and Stromkern. Rein[Forced] is fronted by Jim Semonik, the creator of the Electronic Saviors compilation on Metropolis Records and D.A.Turner. Over the years, the band has shared the stage with veteran acts such as Front Line Assembly, Chemlab, Funker Vogt and My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult. It has been a difficult journey for Rein[Forced] since their last album. After the death of a band member in 2006 and Jim suffering from stage 2B colorectal cancer in 2008, it has been a rough road in the last few years. Due to these circumstances, it has been difficult for the band to move forward for another CD. During Semonik's chemotherapy and radiation sessions, he developed the idea for a cancer research benefit boxset called Electronic Saviors:Industrial Music to Cure Cancer. It went on to be one of the most publicized and successful compilations of all time for the industrial scene. After donating over 20,000 to charity, Semonik's Rein[Forced] project took center stage in his life to focus on a brand new record. Rein[Forced] looks forward to bringing you their strongest and most mature work to date. Please help fund this project and bring this project to fruition.
The goal for this kickstarter project is $1500. As per the rules of this project, if the goal is not reached, the band will not receive any money for funding the production of this record.
