In the year 2069, what has been uncovered in secret archaeological digs, transpiring over the last 50 years is going to rock the foundation of what we all believe. The remains of heroes, villains, monsters and creatures, that have long been believed to be myth or legend have been found. The remains have been used to create clones. These clones are caged, retrained and forced to fight in the most brutal sport in the world, the "Xtreme Champion Tournament". This has become the most watched sport in history, and sees cloned fighters pitted against each other, as well as well known mythical creatures, for entertainment purposes.
My name is Shaun and I'm the creator of the Xtreme Championship Tournament. In 2016, there was a call out made for aspiring writers and artists to take part in this anthology. The response was incredible with people from all over the world applying from the US, Europe and all the way to the land down under, Australia.
Supporting this project is giving an opportunity for creatives (some first timers!) a chance to get published. And a very loud YES, all of them were PAID for their works. If this project is successful, it will enable me to make new anthologies giving more people a chance to tell more stories!
Praise and Acclaim

The book uses 6 different writers and 6 different artists to produce 6 short stories within the XCT universe. These short stories are based on different cultures famous myths and legends; with some of the cultures included in the project being Maori, Trojan/Greek, Britannia, Norse and more.
With over 60 pages of beautiful black and white artwork from some amazing Australian, New Zealand and other international artists, this is a must for any comic book collector. The graphic novel will be 80 pages in total, with a wrap around cover and perfect bound.
This first edition is being published by Australia's most successful collectible business COMICS2MOVIES. If the initial target is met this first edition will be limited to only 500 copies and will be printed in extremely high quality, but if we are able to gain more funds and reach some of our stretch goals then you will see the book increase in size, pages and edition.
Below you can checkout the first page to each of the 6 short stories.

Things to Remember
Some things to remember -
1) Prices are in Australian dollars so to all our US and international backers everything is 20-25% or more cheaper for you due to the exchange rate.
2) Pledge early and help spread the word, as this helps our Kickstarter stay at the top of the projects list longer and will also helps us endeavor to reach our goal.
3) The more we make the more you get. If we are able to reach our goal and beyond our stretch goals then we will load you guys up with some extras.
4) You are not charged until the end of the Kickstarter so pledging early doesn't mean you will be charged straight away. This is great considering it's the holidays.
5) We are always here to answer any questions. The team will always be on hand to answer any questions which include add on's, specials and anything else about the project or story.
Risks and challenges
The delivery date for almost all rewards will be in early March of 2018. After the campaign is over, I'll be keeping everyone up to date on the printing schedules for the book and all the rewards as we go along.
With the pencil, ink illustrations and lettering already done, all that's left is the design/layout work for the interior of the book. The turnaround on printing for the books is about 2-3 weeks and will be done as soon as this campaign ends, once received packing and shipping all those cool rewards will take about 2-4 weeks to action.
You know how nothing in life EVER goes perfectly smooth, right? Well, just to give you all a heads up, if there are shipment schedule issues or challenges with the printers, or those pesky day-to-day challenges, I know how to stick it out, get the work done, make it look great and meet those deadlines! I have done it before and will do it again!!
I believe that transparency is key in a venture like this, so again, I'll be keeping everyone informed as we make our way through this fun project. Thanks for all your support.
