What Is Which Friend?
Which Friend is a social game that was designed to bring friends together. It promotes interaction and laughter as the question cards tend to bring up old stories and funny instances that are unique to each set of friends that play the game. It involves thought and strategy, and is a great way to see which of your friends knows each other best.
- Your plane goes down on a deserted island. WHICH FRIEND emerges as the leader and restores order amongst the chaos?
- WHICH FRIEND has the most embarrassing stories?
- WHICH FRIEND has the craziest ex-boyfriend/girlfriend
- You're all standing on the top of a cliff debating whether or not to jump into the water below... WHICH FRIEND jumps first?
- WHICH FRIEND is best suited to win Fear Factor?
- WHICH FRIEND would get the most enjoyment out of laying on a beach, eating honey baked ham, and drinking some cold chocolate milk?
How To Play...
The object of the game is to vote with the majority. Each player is given a rotating voting wheel that has a specific number on the back that represents themselves. After a question is read from the pile of question cards, each player rotates their voting wheel to display the number associated with the player they feel best represents the question. Once all players have chosen their vote and rotated the voting wheel to the appropriate number, all voting wheels shall be flipped over and set on the playing surface simultaneously. Once the votes are tallied up, any player that voted with the majority is awarded a point.
If there is a tie, any players involved in the tie must try to persuade any players that are not involved in the tie to agree with their answer and swing their vote.
What's In the Box?
- Over 280 Question cards designed to make you laugh
- 12 Voting Wheels. The circular double-sided voting wheels display your unique number on one side, and a rotating window on the other to select your vote.
- Instruction Page
- Laminated Score Sheet - Dry-Erase Marker included
- Hours and hours of FUN
Why Is Which Friend Unique?
Which Friend is so unique because it depends on the people playing the game. The questions were designed to bring up those crazy stories only you and your friends know about each other. They were also designed to expose people's most embarrassing moments, their generosity and good features, and to find out who everyone thinks has the best hair.. There's also a series of hypothetical questions that seek out which friend would be most suitable in certain silly situations. The object of the game is to score points by voting with the majority, however, the intention of the game is to get friends to talk and joke about old stories from the past and remember and celebrate all the things that make their friendships great. It's a game thats more about thought, history, and reminiscing than simply picking a card out of a pile because it's the most random and raunchy.
Which Friend is also a great game for people who are still getting to know each other. Its perfect for getting coworkers to learn more about one-another or for new acquaintances to mingle more easily.

Hey there hopeful backers. My name is Don Gilardi, I'm the creator and designer of Which Friend. The inspiration to make a game like Which Friend came from the admiration I have for my friends and family. I cherish my relationships with them greatly and really wanted to develop a game that would gather everyone together and allow us to just have fun reminiscing, tell old stories we've shared together, and laugh at our funny, sometimes embarrassing, moments.
Which Friend scored extremely well in all of its game trials amongst all age groups. It scored excellent in game flow, playability, and scored 10 out of 10 in the level of fun. Which Friend has over 350 question cards that were designed to bring out the deepest, funniest, most embarrassing characteristics and stories that we all share with our friends.
Which Friend is an incredibly fun game with a great concept and I truly believe that every group of friends could benefit by playing the game. I am very passionate about getting the game out to the rest of the world to enjoy. But I can't do it without you! Please, if you believe in Which Friend too, back my game and pledge towards the initial costs of production and you'll receive a copy of the game, which I guarantee you will love! Thanks for reading, and please, go pledge! :)
Risks and challenges
In the pre-production phase of Which Friend I have been in contact with, AdMagic, a very helpful production company that is based out of New Jersey that has manufacturing facilities in China. I have made my own prototype of Which Friend, complete with over 350 question cards, 15 voting wheels, a score sheet, set of game instructions, and a tailored box. I have tested the game out with friends, family members, and have lent it out to other people to play with their friends. It has been tested amongst all different age groups from 16-18 year olds, 18-30 year olds, and 30-60+ year olds, and all the reviews are the same. Success. From all the testing situations I have facilitated, and the feedback I have received after lending the game out, the results are that it doesn't matter what age group is playing the game. It is equally as exciting and fun for all ages. So, with a fully functional prototype, and a diversified group testing the game, I am confident that the product provided by the chosen production company will more than succeed an acceptable finished product. AdMagic will closely work with me to ensure that the game meets my standards by sending a copy of the finished game and allow any changes or alterations to be made before any sizable orders are started. As far as timing, AdMagic estimates a turnaround time after final factory proof approval of 35-55 days with air shipping and 85-105 days by boat. While keeping the production company's estimates in mind I will add a sufficient amount of time when giving my backers an estimated date of arrival.
I plan on being very informative on my Kickstarter account by updating the game's status and responding to supportive pledgers' comments and questions. This whole process is new to me but I am very excited and passionate to share Which Friend with the rest of the world. I hope to gain insight and helpful information from my backers in certain areas I may be lacking. I would like to make Which Friend available to people all over the world but am not so privy to mailing packages out of the United States. Maybe one of you can give me some insight on the best way to ship small packages worldwide and have an idea on costs?Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
