I have one the first square's and use it every day, its a good bottle, but I would consider backing this one also but with the exchange rate and the international postage being almost the same as the bottle, its just to expensive, a $40 bottle becomes an $81 bottle

Above Jesse writes clearly to send a free bottle if i order some bottles so the next day i send the following reply:
Dear Jesse, I tried to order some bottles through your website some time ago but it was not possible due to no shipping outside US. I like to order one red and one green bottle and receive the free in color black. Please send me an order with price delivered to the Netherlands and a payment option so I can decide. Thank you.
And than i got the reply from Jesse on 20 may:

So you have seen my mails and you're not helping and that is why my white already of the market suare bottle is in the garbage bin and Jesse is not helping out!

I have two squares and one is perfect and one have a broken cap at the bottom and i tried to get a new bottom for months, even asking to send one if I buy one or two more squares, but they simply refuse to send it nor are they replying to my mail. Guarantee the bottles for life probably does not apply in The Netherlands. Now i have only one as the other is lying in the garbage bin. Thank you for one very expensive bottle!
@Sandro - so sorry about that! we can send you a new square but it is tough for us to engrave it as well given the fact that the factory requires a large minimum order. let us know!
@David_Mayer I have to admit that I love my square, but I'm bummed about the mistake due to the accent (é came out as Ã©). Is there any way to remove the engraving? (I actually have access to a laser, so I might be able to re-engrave it correctly).

I'm just wondering. Did anyone get their bonus Kickstarter Clear bottle as promised in Update #8? I really like the square bottles, btw and use them all the time.

ok it's no glue. it is ring to seal the bottle..... oh well now i got a leaking bottle thank god i bought 2 ;)
Did have numerous airport security staff comment on it though. Both in the US and back in the UK

Joggl - I removed and reseated the inner seal on the cap and it now works great!
Since two days I'm experiencing the same problems that David mentioned before me. It seems like the bottle is not sealed properly between the plastic and metal part. Every time I drink some water drips from the edge. What shall I do?
My square bottle appears to be leaking from the top where the metal frame meets the plastic top.
It leaks down my shirt every time I go for a drink and it doesn't matter which side I tilt it.
It even leaks with to cap on while I'm tilting it.
I love the Square but I like to keep my shirts dry.
Received my bottles and they are great. I initially had the same issue as Chris K with leakage from the black bottle, but removing and replacing the silicon cap seal seems to solve the problem.

This shouldn't be happening, could be a faulty seal. Double check to be sure the silicon seal is snugly in place before we take further steps, but I'm more than happy to mail you a new top cap. Just let me know,
While I love my Square bottle, I do have 1 issue...
- When you open the top of bottle to drink from it, there is water pooled on the plastic lip (where your lips go). This leads to water rolling down the sides of the bottle or dripping to the floor/desk/etc. This happens every time the bottle is shaken or tilted to where the water hits the lid (with the cap on). This leads me to believe the silicon seal on the top is not sufficient.
Been using it daily at work for about a month or so now. Absolutely love these bottles. I still baby them, but I know eventually they will get scratched. Either way best water bottle I've ever had, and I have spent hundreds on them over the years. Job well done David.

I've had my square for a few weeks now. It has been hiking and skiing in Colorado, hiking all through PA. It's got a few scratches, but i think they're beauty marks on a HEAVILY used item. I would just like to congratulate the a) fantastic product, but mainly b) being a kickstart project that had there shit together and shipped out at a reasonable date as compared to many other kickstarter projects, and delivered what was promised.
Mixed results with my first outage with my square. I put it down on a table (maybe a little hard) and I had ginger beer coming out the bottom all over the counter at Starbucks!! :/

Ashely - glad your Square arrived, finally! The orange did come out a bit brighter than we anticipated, but I think it looks good. We may play around with it and try for a more rust color - what do you think?

Nevermind, my bottle arrived yesterday as soon as I got home. It's really good, but has a mild plastic and metal taste.

I did notice a few scratches this morning on my Square, with only a few days use. These do tend to scratch rather easily, I must say. I'm glad David is open to replacements if the scratches continue to be a problem.
Emshumi - I'll e-mail it out once we receive our next shipment in 2 weeks! We'll even have more colors available then!

Jason- Sorry to hear about the scratches and we did indeed mean to have our new coating be somewhat scratch resistant to normal use. If it continues to be a problem, I'm more than happy to replace your Square free of charge.
Colin- Yes! What size would you like to see? If our first year with the Square goes well, we'll definitely be looking to expand our line

I thought it was pretty scratch resistant....
