Skirmish Battles Tomorrow Night
My friends, I just wanted to pass on that tomorrow, I will be posting a private testing of the battle engine using the new weapons system generator. I think we are going to make the first stretch goal so I went ahead over Turkey and trimmings moved over the code. I hope it will be polished enough between now and tomorrow night to show. The build will be Windows PC only for the test. You will be able to do the following.
1. Generate a ship and edit it
2. Roll for a weapon using the same system I showed earlier this week
3. Enter into a one on one battle, Each enemy ship you destroy a new one will be created, how far can you go before becoming stardust.
4. Once you loose It will reboot to the logo so you can try again, alternatively if you want to change weapons leave the field of battle to go back to the weapons screen.
My hope with the build tomorrow is to get your initial thoughts on combat and control. As I have said before, I think combat is a critical cornerstone of the game, so I want it as SOLID as I can get. Now my question for tonight is, should I put Hi-score in it for this build for fun, so you guys can post your scores and see who battles the best?
