RE.BIN is the modern alternative to the traditional recycling bin that maximizes efficiency of residential and commercial disposal in the 21st century. RE.BIN’s patent-pending design promotes sustainability by offering an easy way to recycle in style.
MADE IN VERMONT, from 100% recycled plastic, RE.BIN is designed to be used with standard paper grocery bags for an easy, clean, sustainable recycling experience. RE.BIN promotes sustainability through a functional, innovative design that makes recycling more convenient for everyone. RE.BIN is perfect for anyone who is busy and tight on time.
Founded by an environmental lawyer with a keen eye for design, RE.BIN has set out to craft elegant, practical home products that allow the design-conscious consumer to keep sustainability at the center of their life.
For those of you whose local stores don't offer paper bags, we're excited to offer our own RE.BIN liners! Our liners are made from 100% recycled paper, fit to RE.BIN's dimensions and stamped with the RE.BIN logo. But, remember, RE.BIN is designed to fit any standard paper grocery bag. We're simply offering these liners as an alternative, in case you don't have paper bags readily available.
The liners are available in sets of 15 or 30. To receive a pack of 15 liners, simply add $10 to your current pledge. To receive a 30-pack month supply, add $15 to your current pledge.
If you’ve already pledged to our campaign and would like to update your reward to receive these custom liners, simply click the blue “manage your pledge” button on the right-hand side of the page (up top, near the funding amount) and edit your reward amount to add either $10 or $15 to your total pledge amount (keep your reward selection as is).

According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Americans had a 34.3% recycling rate in 2013. Americans accumulated nearly 254 million tons of trash in 2013, but only recycled or composted about 87 million tons. With RE.BIN, it’s easier for you to recycle and do your part to protect the environment.
At RE.BIN, we believe sustainability isn’t just a concept, it’s a value. We also believe that big change starts small. That’s why we strive to promote sustainability through functional, innovative design – to make eco-friendly living a simple, intuitive, attractive choice for everyone.
We made RE.BIN because we believe recycling should be easy, and that you shouldn’t have to compromise style to make a difference in the world. We crafted RE.BIN with the highest attention paid to minimizing its ecological footprint. RE.BIN is made right here in the USA - when you choose RE.BIN, you can rest assured that you’re choosing sustainability too.

Over the past few years, we’ve taken RE.BIN from a simple concept to a production-ready product, but now we need your help to successfully manufacture the product and bring this idea to life. After working through several prototypes, we’ve completed the design, found a manufacturer and identified a material that meets our high sustainability standards. Now we want you to become a part of the RE.BIN Team by supporting this campaign and making RE.BIN a reality! We know that RE.BIN will make recycling easier for everyone, and we think that ease of use will encourage recycling across all major U.S. cities, but we need your help to make that happen! This Kickstarter campaign will allow us to manufacture and deliver RE.BIN to make recycling easier for all of our backers.
We want to give you the opportunity to contribute to RE.BIN’s development and be the first to welcome RE.BIN into your home. We’re so excited to welcome you to the RE.BIN movement, and are so grateful to have your support on this journey!
Risks and challenges
Before settling on a manufacturer, we thoroughly considered every manufacturing process available to us, and searched the entire length of the United States for the best manufacturer that fits all of our production needs. After a long and meticulous search, we are confident that we have enlisted the best manufacturer for the job!
However, we also recognize that certain risks and challenges are inherent with any first run production of a new product. We are prepared to handle any unforeseen circumstances in a manner that minimizes potential delay while maintaining our commitment to high quality and sustainability. We are confident in our abilities to overcome the foreseeable delays and unforeseeable risks related to tooling, manufacturing, packaging, distribution and fulfillment. You’ll be the first to know if any obstacles or challenges arise, and we promise to keep you updated and informed on any such issues throughout, and following the end of, the Kickstarter campaign.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
