Dear Friends,

I'm so grateful and delighted to share an update about our project!

Your support and pledges have been incredibly generous and kind. It is an amazing and humbling feeling to be so freely given your trust.

We timed this thing pretty tightly with the recording session just one day after the Kickstarter campaign ended, and you came through! We had 109 people pledge through Kickstarter (and a few friends through other means!) and raised just over $5,600! You blew our initial goal out of the water, and as a result, we were able to widen the scope of the project -- hiring 40 fantastic musicians, a wonderful engineer and videographer to document the whole process.

The recording session took place on Saturday for four hours at Central Presbyterian Church on the Upper East Side here in Manhattan. I just received the initial cuts from the session, and I couldn't be more thrilled with how it turned out.  I know you're going to really love this music.  I can't wait to get it to you!

We have some editing to do, as well as assembling the CDs, DVDs, and score incentives that each of you selected.  I hope to get that all done and shipped out to you by the end of November.

In the meantime, I just can't resist: Here's a little unedited/unmixed snippet of the 3rd movement:

Cheers!

Chris
