About

2015 has been a landmark year for Orchestra Vitae. We have celebrated our 3rd birthday, played our debut concert at the Royal Festival Hall, and are returning to St. John's Smith Square to play the London premiere of Martin Butler's Concerto for soprano saxophone, with award winning composer, producer and performer John Harle.

However, most importantly it has been a year where we have been able to pay our musicians. Not only will we have provided employment through the many Orchestra Vitae quartets that have played nationwide, but we have also been able to pay them a performance fee for every concert we have performed. This has been a great mountain for us to climb as such a young orchestra, and we are now at the final part of our ascent!

We need your help with this! To pay our musicians for our final concert of the year we need to raise a final £3,000.00.

Risks and challenges

Until the beginning of 2015 we have paid our musicians expenses. During the last year we have paid them professional fees for each of our performances. This concert is our final step to being able to pay them, as they deserve, for being professional musicians. Our biggest risk is sustaining our cashflow so we carefully manage this adopting a 2 person checks and balances system.
