"Death Suspects a Murder" is a 90 minute murder mystery. The story revolves around two detectives who are looking to discover the identity of a serial killer that has been quietly terrorizing a secluded Christian college campus.
The movie has already been completed but now we would like to make professional quality DVDs and send this project to film festivals. Made on a shoe string budget we really would appreciate any and all help in entering "Death Suspects a Murder" into as many festivals as possible. We had a great crowd response at our first screening: over 300 people attended.
It took over 9 months to finish this project so it is easily an example of a labor of love. This was a project that took a lot of personal dedication and sacrifice. It took a crew of over 20 people total all with varying schedules in order to complete the film but it was all worth it in the end. Here is production designer Jessie Jolliff talking about her process.
And here is assistant director of photography Richard Goff discussing what his experience on set was like:
With your investment we hope to bring this movie to more and more people around the United States and the world!
Investors who donate a certain amount of money will also receive a DVD copy of the film which includes an audio commentary version of the film. This commentary track provides insight into the creation of the film from the perspective of the director Jenn Marlis, the director of photography Robby DeVillez and the screenwriter Matthew S. Robinson.
If you are willing to give a little bit more you will receive not only a digital and DVD copy of the film but you will also be rewarded with an autographed poster of the film featuring signatures from members of the cast and crew.
Is it a quality project worth investing in? Reviews will be flowing in soon so make sure to "star" this project for further updates. Here is a film review from author Jade Heasley. Author of such books as "The Incorrigible Dreamers" and "1980s Kid"--
[Death Suspects a Murder] was packed with mystery and suspense and literally kept me on the edge of my seat! --Jade Heasley, Author
