I woke up this morning to find a message in my inbox from a friend who started off by saying he has never mass emailed before but was doing so today to support this project.

Believe me - I know how uncomfortable it is to reach out especially in terms of money. The energy you all are putting into this means a lot. Every day I feel like giving up someone reminds me how important THEY believe this work is. EVERY DAY - you all have kept me going through these past 23 days and we have 8 to go.

As well, have you heard Justin Timberlake's new album?? It's been my other source of fuel. I don't know how many bar/cafes I've sat in sipping cheap beer and grooving in bar stools as I work. Being an avid listener of dramatic melancholy tunes like Bon Iver I love when a pop star can reach me with upbeat tunes.

I woke up with a random thought this morning.

iambic pentameter = I am Bic: pen tame meter.

and that's what I have to say about that.

For all you Seattle folks, see you tonight at 7pm at Black Coffee Coop! There you will be graced with the brilliant voices of Arlene Kim,  Mira Kraft, Michael Hodges, Graham Issac and Laura Wachs. It will by my last poetry feature in Seattle for a while so I'd love to share the night with you.

Happy Friday (or mediocre Friday/ egregious Friday/ loquacious Friday/ insert adjective here Friday). Mwah!
