Narrative

There are two systems of planets moving though the cosmos. Once within range both systems of planets see the other and decide that the other planets pose a threat. Since they have been fighting for so long both systems need more planets to continue the fight. Both systems then decide to try to capture the other for conscription into their army. Who will capture who? Which system will gain more planets? That's up to you in the game of gravitational pull.

Representation

Pieces are two different kinds of planets so they are easily distinguishable from each other. Each player will get five different colored planets. All of them will be the same style. With five different colored die matching the colored pieces.

Instructions

  • Goal -You win be freezing more pieces then your opponent
  •  Setup - Two Player Game, each player gets five pieces
  • - One player gets all the planets with rings, the other gets all the planets with moons
  •  - Set the five pieces on the first row on your side on any space
  •  - Use a die roll to determine who moves first (highest goes first), if it's a draw do it again
  • Piece Movement
  •  - On your turn roll all five dice
  •  - Each individual piece you have can move from an individual die you have (Example your yellow piece moves from your yellow die)
  •  - Your 5 pieces can only move up, left, right, down (not diagonal)
  •  - On the playing board there can only be two pieces on one spot this means that out of the ten moveable pieces on the board only two can be on the same space at once
  • Contact with the enemy
  •  - On landing on an enemy piece the enemies piece cannot move meaning its frozen
  • - If a piece is frozen it can't freeze other pieces
  •  - If you decide to move your piece off of the enemies then their piece may move next turn
  •  - If you have a piece frozen you do not have to roll the die with that piece’s color since it will not be able to move

Risks and challenges

The challenges that I have had to over come is that this is my first game that I am trying to publish. I am qualified for this because I have had four years of learning about the process of designing a game at college.
