A memoir about when I was 9 and my father was diagnosed with lung cancer. Over the next year, I learned how to live with a terminally ill parent.

Just recently, someone I knew was being tested for cancer. Thankfully, he was not diagnose. However, just the thought was driving me nuts. I hope this project is successful. If not, I am still interested in hearing anything.
I'm making this pledge for my girlfriend. Her father has been in and out of the hospital for the past 16 years and every trip is treated as if it's the last. It's painful to admit that his passing would be better for everyone, including him, but still needing to fight for one more day. When I heard about your project, I thought about her and what she has gone through. I look forward to reading it.
