92 backers pledged £7,290 to help bring this project to life.

One Week Remaining.

Hello All,

I'd like to express my deep thanks and gratitude to everyone who has backed the campaign so far. In addition to your pledges, I have received some very kind, supportive and encouraging messages, which has been very touching.

Hooves' Kickstarter project has now been live for just over two weeks. At the time of writing, the project is 40% funded with just seven days remaining to reach our funding target of £5000. I'm conscious that time is running out and of the need to raise 150% of the amount already pledged. Still, I remain hopeful of the project's eventual success and I can't wait to start work on manufacturing and delivering your rewards.

The campaign was given a welcome boost this week in the form of two Q&A blog articles. Early in the week, vegan blog, My Non Leather Life featured 10 Q&As with myself. And on Saturday, vegan chef, Ayinde Howell's I Eat Grass website featured 5 Q&As. It was a great opportunity to share the story of how Hooves came about, what we offer and where our aims lie as a startup company. Thank you to Victoria Niederhoffer, Shadé Ibe and Ayinde Howell for their welcome support! Great also to see The Smiths' Meat is Murder sleeve in an article about Hooves! I like to think Mr Morrissey feels similarly flattered. If you haven't yet read the blog articles, you can do so by clicking the below links.

In the week ahead I will continue the social media campaign to encourage new backers, place the upper material manufacturers on standby to quickly fulfil our prospective order and prepare the survey questions in readiness for a successfully funded Kickstarter project.

I'd be most grateful for your help in sharing the Kickstarter project with your friends and colleagues. I really want the campaign to be a success so we can manufacture our first production run, deliver backer rewards and show the world what Hooves has to offer.

Have a great week and watch out for a further update on Friday 28th Feb.

Yours sincerely

Mark Bryceland
