If you buy the 'Dragon Shine' tier reward, the dragon cards in the game will have a metallic shine. Here's an example dragon and an example of how the shine effect works:
Quartermaster fulfillment will take care of the delivery logistics. They have provided good service to several Kickstarter projects and are familiar with the threats and opportunities associated with it. Canada and the USofA will cost 12$ for postage and the EU will cost 16$. Everywhere else will cost 30$, but if in a given case it costs less Hogg Publishing will charge the lessor amount.
Risks and challenges
Threat 1: The game does not look exactly like as shown. The art is for sure, but the exact box shape, look of markers, and exact size of standies, etc could change. The amount of change would likely be unnoticeable, but the QC process could always change something. Rules text will DEFINITELY change on some cards to reflect the most current (and most fun) version of the game.
Threat 2: Delivery is delayed. This is unlikely, because so much is already in place- manufacturer, quote, availability of materials, logistics in place. But, it is possible. If this does occur, I commit to speedy communication of a new estimated timeline.
Threat 3: There is an unexpected mistake. This is not an old brand, this game is my sole design. That is great for art direction and artistic freedom generally, but could always mean that something unforeseen poses a problem. However, I have secured my time to focus on the project into the next few months, and I have project management experience. I fully expect to hit any curve balls that come my way. But, if something gets by me, I will depend on honest communication to keep the good will of backers.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
