We did it!

Hi everyone!

WE MET OUR GOAL!  Thank you so much to everyone who contributed, who shared the project with others, and for all of the amazing support and encouragement.

This funding campaign will still be able to accept funds throughout the weekend, to end on Sunday evening at 11:59 PM.  Our initial goal of $3500 meets our minimum budget to complete the shoot, edit the film, and submit it to a handful of festivals.

Any additional funds will be effectively used for a variety of purposes: to promote the film more widely, to cover submission fees at more festivals, to transport our actors and crew to the festivals, and to independently develop the short into a feature-length film.

We wanted to make a beautiful film, but we had no idea that so many of you would stand alongside us and support it.  Not only have you given us the financial momentum we needed to make this film happen, but you gave us the “spark” – the positive energy and confidence we needed to make this film truly amazing!  We are so excited to share this film with you.

Thank you.

Warm best,

Samina
