Be inspired. Connect. Belong. Create.
We are drawn to places where we can be ourselves. Whether we want to feel seen and known or escape and dream. People want a third space – somewhere that isn’t home or work – where they can connect and create. This is why all great communities have their unique pubs, coffee shops, skate parks, farmers’ markets and front porches.
As it turns out, there are lots of people in Fayette County looking for this very thing – a classy, comfortable, cozy place where they can meet a friend or read a book or get some work done.
After several years of talking, listening and researching we are ready to launch Common House – the third space Fayette County has been waiting for.
We are a community-inspired space with really good coffee, long hours and an atmosphere designed to inspire.
COMMON HOUSE VALUES
No. 1: We believe in neighbors – people like you and me who make our community awesome. We partner with local business, charities and schools to make our coffee house a contributing member of the neighborhood.
No. 2: We draw the circle wider – we believe that through excellent design and service, we can create a space where everyone feels welcome and wants to spend time.
- No. 3: We nourish creativity – local artisans, crafters and neighbors are the lifeblood a community space. We have innovated business practices and believe in inspiring people through an incredible experience.
MORE ABOUT THE REALLY GOOD COFFEE
We are partnering with Batdorf & Bronson, a well-established coffee roaster in Atlanta who distributes wholesale and at their Dancing Goats retail shops. The attention to fairly sourced and freshly roasted beans and perfectly-brewed coffee makes them a favorite cup of coffee in the city. We are excited to bring this level of quality coffee to the good people of Fayette County!
MORE ABOUT THE INSPIRING ATMOSPHERE
With all the recent growth in Fayette County we don’t want to forget our roots and history. That’s one reason we’ve set our sights on a beautiful, historic house near the Fayetteville square. This house, like many of the same era, were built over one hundred years ago and have incredible history and charm. We want to keep all the old windows, floors and flourishes while adding modern touches and textures.
Imagine a beautiful, custom-made wooden bar under the stairwell in the main hall where you order your perfectly crafted drink from our skilled baristas.
Imagine each room downstairs arranged with furniture that perfectly blend comfort, tradition and modern style -- chairs for conversation, cafe tables for laptops, nooks for reading. Sit next to the fireplace or by the window or on the porch.
Imagine open spaces upstairs that have great lighting for meetings, events, parties, classes and co-working. Beautiful details from the historic house creates an inspiring space while modern furniture keeps the space relevant.
Imagine a patio with tables, lights Wi-Fi that spills from the interior to a welcoming lawn designed to fit the needs of intimate conversations and groups alike.
