HOW TO SAVE
Welcome! There are several levels of pricing for each shirt to reward the people who back the project right away, instead of waiting until the end. There is a limit that we can allocate for each level. Once they're sold out, that level is closed, and people will only be able to buy at the next level. All levels include free shipping to Canada and the Continental United States.

Sound familiar? We've all been there. Whether it's caused by a high heat work environment, induced by vigorous exercise, or simply due to brutally hot weather conditions, we've all experienced the effects heat stress. It's not pleasant. More importantly, it's not good for you.
NASA's heat stress report CR-1205 (1) found that temperatures over 80°F have a marked NEGATIVE effect on both the productivity and accuracy of work. At 95°F the report showed that study participants were found to make 60 mistakes / hour. That's 1 mistake every minute!
That didn't sound so good to us, so we created ActiCool - new everyday cooling apparel that actually works!
ActiCool is a proprietary fabric designed to battle heat conditions for any occasion: work, leisure, or fitness. Super comfortable and soft to the touch, ActiCool keeps you cool as everything around you heats up.
ActiCool is not a finish, a gel, or three ply fabric. ActiCool’s technology is the yarn itself. All the properties are inherent in the yarn, so they won’t wash out.
By using a proprietary blend of hydrophilic fibers, we are able to build a multilayered yarn which pulls the moisture/humidity away from the skin and into the yarn itself. ActiCool moves the moisture through the complex number of channels within the yarn structure, before evaporating.
This allows for increased circulation, a softer hand (single ply fabric), and increased levels of anti-pilling properties. Creating a cooling effect and reducing humidity next to the body, ActiCool keeps you dry.
To measure just how effective ActiCool actually is, we used the world renowned Flir® Thermal Imaging technology to capture ActiCool's temperature reduction effects in action.
Tested in tough conditions
ActiCool fabric was originally designed to keep law enforcement and military personnel cool under their body armor. More recently, ActiCool has been used in industrial settings as a means to keep working personnel cool and comfortable. Over and over again ActiCool has proven to be effective in tough conditions. We’re excited to see which tough terrains you’ll take our new everyday wear design to next!

Stands the test of high heat & humidity
We’ve put our shirts through the ringer by getting athletes to stress test ActiCool fabric in hot and humid conditions (90F and 50% humidity).
All testers happily reported that ActiCool allowed them to push harder and kept them from overheating. Additionally, ActiCool has been successfully tested in everyday activities such as: landscaping, mowing the lawn, and general work outdoors.

Benjamin Brook, the founder of ActiCool, is the third generation of a family company producing the most innovative products to the safety industry. Growing up, he suffered from Raynaud’s disease, a circulation disorder. This affliction leads to the body cooling down and then being forced to thermal charge to heat the body back up. In plain English, this means that he was the "sweaty kid". Needless to say, this made life quite uncomfortable!

SURVEY - THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! Several days after the campaign is concluded, we will be emailing you a link to a Kickstarter survey to know what to send you and where to send it. It’s super simple to fill out. Just select your size(s), style(s), and color choice(s) and enter your shipping address. Fill out your survey as soon as the campaign is over to avoid shipping delays.
SIZING - ActiCool sizes are based on a unisex cut. We’ve had both women and men successfully test and wear regularly these styles. To find your perfect size, grab your favorite t-shirt and lay it on a flat surface. Grab a tape measure and measure the dimensions that you see in the image below and find the size that most closely matches it. If you have any questions, please let us know either directly via Kickstarter message system or via email @ team@acticoolapparel.com.
STYLES - We've got some milestones to hit before ActiCool can manufacture en masse these additional styles. We are positive however we can hit them and are receiving a lot of help from you on social media to help spread the word. Upon hitting $75K, ActiCool will be able to take the collared and racerback shirt orders!

For the more affordable shipping internationally, we have an option to send your order without tracking, however this option will not allow us to know if you received the package. In this case, we cannot guarantee delivery and will not be able to resend the product, in case you don’t receive it.
In order to get your ActiCool on time, you'll need to fill out the survey as soon as possible to avoid delays.
HOLIDAYS - We plan to ship out all product by December which makes for an excellent Holiday gift, however cannot guarantee that you will receive your ActiCool shirt prior to the holidays. Depending on the number of orders, it may take several weeks to fulfill all of the orders. In addition we may be affected by any delays in the courier holiday shipping schedule.
RETURNS - Although most Kickstarter campaigns do not offer exchange policies, we do. If you find a manufacturer’s defect, or received the wrong size, style, or color, you have 30 days to exchange the ActiCool shirt ONLY if it has not been worn and an alternative is available. In this case, you will be asked to cover shipping both ways. All instructions will be included in your order.

WE'VE DONE THIS BEFORE - There are very few risks here. After all, we created the ActiCool fabric. Our company has been manufacturing, distributing and shipping safety products for 4 decades. We currently manufacture ActiCool based specialty apparel for industrial applications, which demands high quality standards. All logistics for making and delivering our new product line are already in place. As with any manufacturing, we are subject to transit delays and raw material shortages.
