I took the leap. I chose 14 of my songs, booked a week at the legendary Hyde Street Studio C, and called together an incredible cast of California musicians to make my debut, full-length album. Read more about the musicians below!
The recordings are blowing my mind. There are folky tunes, funky tunes, soul tunes, blues riffs, and more (you can hear a bit of “Ray of Light” in the video). I am so excited to complete this debut album and share it with the world. I need your help to do so. I have already spent all my savings on the recording of the songs. So, in order to raise the funds for mixing, mastering, production, and promotion of the record I have launched this Kickstarter campaign. It’s important to know that if the $7,000 goal is not met in one month, I receive none of the pledged funds. That’s how Kickstarter campaigns work. The heat is on!
I would hugely appreciate your help with this project. Please take a minute to tell your friends, family, and co-workers about this album by sending them the link via email, Facebook, Twitter, or a good ole’ phone call. The album release will be this fall. There are fun rewards for giving at every level (read about these in the right hand column.)
And finally, I hold great respect and gratitude for all of the talented people who have contributed to the album. Check out these amazing collaborators:
