About this project
Everybody has one dream that they wish they could turn into reality and that one dream for me is to be credited and acknowledged for my music I have put so much work into! Therefore I am looking to raise funds so that I can release my first album, create a webpage for fans and to even aid future producers in there journey to success just as I am looking to do. Along with this I would like to upgrade to a more suitable work-space for creating music seeing as my bedroom isn't really up to par although I have for sure made due with it.
My main focus of this project will be the completion of my first album "Outbreak". At the moment I have 6 songs that are ready to go on the album. I would like to reach 10 songs by Christmas so that I can release my album shortly after the new year! The music on this album is created by myself only, there will be no collaboration seeing as I would like people to get a taste of strictly my music. When creating my music I always get opinions from my friends and family to further enhance my songs! I hope you are looking forward to listening to my album.
My passion for making music specifically EDM in which I currently produce started when I was about 15 after going to a David Guetta Concert!
I loved the music and the concert but I wanted to be the one presenting people with my music and having them love and enjoy the concert. After I made up my mind that I would begin my journey towards the big picture I started to teach myself how to create music. I would go hours on end creating music, sometimes I wouldn't even sleep just so I could finish a part of a song I liked a lot. Although there were times I would get frustrated cause things weren't sounding right I would always fight pass it and come up with a solution. Today I can stand by the fact that I have taught my self the art of making music, but you can never be to experienced and that's why I need this big step towards the big picture. I can't do it without the help of generous people who want to see others succeed.
Here is the first song that I exploited and released to the public "Awh Ya" (Original Mix) - Def Noise. This song can be found on iTunes and several other online stores and radio sites.
Over time I learnt new skills and tricks to better suit the sounds I am trying to create. After almost 6 months from the release of my first song I have produced several songs and they have come a long way. One of my newest songs that will be featured in my upcoming album that can be heard below is "Earthquake (Original Mix) - Def Noise".
To me when I start something I need to finish it, but there's a difference between just finishing something and actually making a difference in your life and being known and recognized for what you've done. Going through the motion isn't going to get you success, you need to do things that may be out of your comfort zone or things that people might look at you differently for but if you really want it then you'll do what it takes. With this being said I hope you understand how dedicated and determined I am to succeed with this project. I greatly appreciate your efforts to support what I am doing!
Risks and challenges
The music industry is a very competitive field to be playing around in. although EDM is growing worldwide there is a great deal of people that would like to express their music to the world and it makes it difficult for people who don't have connections to make it in the industry. My solution is to get as many people as I can to support me and spread my music so I can be heard and prove that I have what it takes to play on this field.
Another hurtle I might have to overcome is the fact that I do not possess a great amount of experience in releasing music and developing a name for myself and that is where the funds would become beneficial in pushing past this hurtle.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
